poses named in Class II. of the Schedule to the said Act,
whether the same be granted or not ; and in the case of any
reserve made under the authority of section one hundred
and forty-four of “ The Land Act, 1877,” if it shall, in the
opinion of the Governor, be expedient to change the purpose
of such reserve or any part thereof from the purpose or
presumed purpose for which it was set apart to any other
purpose, or if it shall, in the opinion of the Governor, be
expedient to exchange any of the land comprised in such
reserve for other land of equal value, to be dedicated to one
or more purposes named in the said Class II., the Governor
may, by notice gazetted, make such change, exchange, or
dedication, as the case may be, and in such notice declare
the manner and terms in which the same is intended to be
so made :
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Go-
vernor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby, in exer-
cise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested
in me by “ The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” aforesaid, de-
clare my intention to change the specific purpose of the
reserve described in the first column of the Schedule hereto
from that named therein to the purpose named in the second
column of the said Schedule respectively.

deposited in the Head Office, Department of
Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and
thereon coloured red. Reserved by Warrant
published in the New Zealand Gazette of the
3rd November, 1898, for a resting-place for

this twenty-second day of May, one thousand
nine hundred and five.

Land temporarily reserved in the Auckland Land District.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section
of “ The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the
Governor may from time to time, either by general or parti-
cular description, and whether the same has been surveyed
or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that
the same may be then held under pastoral license, any
Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of
the purposes in the said section mentioned :
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and
pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by
the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale
the land in the Auckland Land District described in the
Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the said
Schedule specified at the end of the description of the land
so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing
by admeasurement 4 acres, more or less, being Sections
Nos. 11 and 12 (Te Kuiti Village Settlement), situated in
Block III., Otanake Survey District. Bounded towards the
north-east by Section No. 13 (Te Kuiti Village Settlement),
Block III., Otanake Survey District ; towards the south-
east by a public road ; towards the south-west by Section
No. 10 of Block III. aforesaid ; and towards the north-west
by Sections Nos. 8 and 6 of the aforesaid Block III. : as
the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 42821/72,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District,
and thereon bordered red. For public utility.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twenty-first day of June, one thousand nine
hundred and five.

Trustees for the Pokeno Public Cemetery appointed.
PLUNKET, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the forty-fifth section of “ The Ceme-
teries Act, 1882,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby ap-
point the local authority specified in the first column of
the Schedule hereto to have the control and management
of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the
said Schedule, in the place of John McGill, Peter McIntyre,
and George Bell.
