A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” and its amendments, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consent of the owners and mortgagees of the lands mentioned in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Akitio and Masterton County Councils, being the local authorities in whose districts the said lands are situated, proclaim as a road the lands in Puketoi and Aohanga Survey Districts described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, which is not required by reason of the road first hereinbefore proclaimed.

Closing Portion of a Government Road through Section 3, Block XV., Hautapu Survey District, Kiwitea County.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section twelve, subsection three, of “The Public Works Acts Amendment Act, 1900,” it is enacted that the Governor may, by Proclamation publicly notified, stop or alter the course of any Government road, or any part thereof: And whereas that portion of the Government road described in the Schedule hereto is no longer required for the purposes of a road:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in any-wise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim as closed the road in Block XV., Hautapu Survey District, hereinafter described.
