In the matter of “The Mining Act, 1878”; and in the matter of application by R. B. Jackson, John Ingram, and Thomas A. Turnbull for a prospecting warrant in respect of portion of D’Urville Island.
WHEREAS application has been made by R. B. Jackson, John Ingram, and Thomas A. Turnbull for a prospecting warrant in respect of the land more particularly described in the Schedule hereto: And whereas such application has been referred by the Minister of Mines to the Judge of the Native Land Court at Wellington for inquiry and report, in accordance with the regulations under “The Mining Act, 1878”:
It is hereby notified that the said Judge has fixed the 2nd day of March, 1905, at 11 a.m., for hearing the said application, and all or any objections thereto.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece or parcel of land, containing 1,000 acres, situated in D’Urville Island, being portion of Rangitoto Block No. 1. Bounded towards the north-east by high-water mark of Current Basin (facing Waikawa Bay), and on all other sides by Native land, the boundaries being all marked by pegs marked “V.”
Sitting of Royal Commission at Hawera.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Commissioners appointed under “The Maori Land Claims Adjustment and Laws Amendment Act, 1904,” will hold a sitting at Hawera on Wednesday, the 1st day of March, 1905, to investigate the claims and allegations set out in the petitions referred to in the Schedule hereunder written. All persons interested in the said matters are hereby notified to attend at the time and place aforesaid.
