Rural Lands in Otago Land District open for Selection on Lease in Perpetuity.
PLUNKET, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-thirty-sixth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, having received the report of the Surveyor-General in this behalf, as in the said section is provided, do hereby declare that the rural lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for selection on and after the twenty-eighth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and five; and also that the lands mentioned in the said Schedule may be selected on lease in perpetuity only, in accordance with the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-one of the said Act, as they contain, or are supposed to contain, metals, minerals, or valuable stone; and I do hereby also fix the prices at which the said lands shall be leased, as mentioned in the said Schedule hereto, and do declare that the said lands shall be leased under and subject to the provisions of “The Land Act, 1892.”

Level land, with fair soil; portion of each section can be cultivated. Situated about three miles from Albert Town.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
HENRY GIBSON KEY
to be a Trustee, in the place of Samuel Stanford, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Lumsden Public Cemetery, in conjunction with the other persons previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this thirty-first day of January, one thousand nine hundred and five.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the forty-fifth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the local authority specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to have the control and management of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the forty-fifth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the local authority specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to have the control and management of the addition to Alexandra (Otago) Public Cemetery described in the second column of the said Schedule.

Bounded towards the north-west by cemetery reserve (10 acres), a distance of 500 links; thence towards the north-east by Block VII., Leaning Rock Survey District, a distance of 200 links; thence towards the south-east by a line at a right angle to the last-mentioned boundary-line, a distance of 500 links; and thence towards the south-west by a line at a right angle to the last-mentioned boundary, a distance of 200 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 45249, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered red. |
