Notice of Vesting of Land in the Public Trustee under
"The Unclaimed Lands Act, 1894."
WHEREAS I, the undersigned, the Public Trustee,
have, for the purposes of “The Unclaimed Lands
Act, 1894,” made due inquiries with respect to the land
described in the Schedule hereunder written, and the owner
thereof, and have, in respect of the said land, given the
notices prescribed by section 4 of the said Act, and have
in all respects complied with the provisions of the said
section: And whereas I have not thereby ascertained who
the owner is, and believe that such owner is not in the
colony, nor has such owner established his title to the said
land, as required by the said Act: I hereby give notice
that the said land is, under and by virtue of the said Act,
vested in me, as the Public Trustee as aforesaid, as from
the date of the publication hereof, and will be administered
under the said Act; the value of the land for the purposes
of section 5 of the said Act being less than £100.

kinds” as o.k.; “articles and materials suited only for, and to be
used solely in, the fabrication of goods in the colony” as a. & m.s.

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to an application in that behalf made to me by the Hastings
Drivers’ Industrial Union of Workers, registered No. 495,
situated at Hastings, the registration of that industrial
union will be cancelled at the expiration of six weeks from
date hereof unless within the six weeks specified proceedings be commenced by a member or other person interested in or having some claim on the funds of the
industrial union to set aside such cancellation, and the same
is set aside accordingly.

The mean daily range of temperature was 14° Fah.
The mean elastic force of vapour, 0·303 in.; mean temperature of the dew-point, 45·3° Fah.; and mean degree of saturation, 67 per cent. As last month, the barometer and temperature were again below the average for the month. High winds occurred on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th, 12th, and on the 18th, when the Robinson anemometer showed a velocity of 650 miles for the twenty-four hours.
