IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND,
WESTLAND DISTRICT.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and its amendments, “The Foreign Companies Act, 1884,” and its amendments, and “The Companies Act, 1903”; and in the matter of the Wheel of Fortune (Limited).

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding-up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 1st day of February, 1904, presented to Mr. Justice Denniston, a Judge of the Supreme Court, by George Davidson and Duncan Davidson, both of Hokitika, Engineers, and Alexander William Bock, of Hokitika aforesaid, Ironmonger, creditors of the said company. And the said petition is directed to be heard before a Judge of the said Court, at Hokitika, on the 3rd day of March, 1904; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to oppose the making of an order for the winding-up of the said company under “The Companies Act, 1903,” should appear at the time of hearing, by himself or his counsel, for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributor of the said company requiring the same, by the undersigned, on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership which has for some time past been carried on by JAMES FLEMMING and THOMAS FLEMMING, under the style or firm of “Flemming Brothers,” at Halcombe, in the trade or business of Storekeepers, was this day dissolved by mutual consent. The business will in future be carried on by James Flemming alone, who will pay and receive all outstanding accounts.

NOTICE is hereby given, in compliance with the terms of section 302 of “The Companies Act, 1903,” that the Norwich and London Accident Insurance Association proposes to commence and carry on business in the City of Wellington, at the offices of Mr. Alfred Ernest Kernot, No. 21, Victoria Street.

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 30s. per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than three months cannot be subscribed for.

Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertion.

Statements under the Mining Act are uniformly charged 23s.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.

The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening in each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before three o’clock of the day preceding publication.

Communications should be addressed to the Government Printer, Wellington, to whom post-office money-orders should be made payable. Cheques should be crossed “Public a/c,” and exchange added.

Postage- or duty-stamps cannot be received in payment from any place at which postal notes or post-office orders are issued.

Prepayment may be demanded in any case. In order to prevent delay in publication a sufficient remittance should accompany every advertisement. Any surplus will be returned with receipted account.
