Authorising Wardens to assent to Transfers of Leases in Form No. 100 under Mining Regulations.
RANFURLY, Governor.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twelfth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and two, certain regulations were made under “The Mining Act, 1898,” by His Excellency the Governor: And whereas in and by the said regulations it is provided that leases of Crown lands in mining townships laid off pursuant to section forty-five of the said Act shall be in the form number 100 set out in the Schedule to the said regulations, and shall be executed by the Warden for and on behalf of the King: And whereas the said form number 100 contains certain covenants of which one--to wit, covenant (b)—provides that the lessee shall not part with, assign, underlet, or otherwise dispose of the land or any part thereof without the previous consent in writing of the King or some person duly authorised to give such consent:
Now, therefore, in exercise of all powers enabling me in this behalf, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare that in the case of each such lease the person authorised to give such consent shall be the Warden of the mining district in which the land comprised in the lease is situate.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this thirtieth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and four.

Postmaster appointed to take and receive Statutory Declarations.
PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the eighth section of “The Justices of the Peace Act Amendment Act, 1888,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that
CHARLES THEODORE NORDELL,
being a person holding the office of Postmaster, under “The Post Office Act, 1881,” at Atea, is authorised to take and receive statutory declarations under the two-hundred-and-thirty-fourth section of “The Justices of the Peace Act, 1882.”
As witness my hand, this thirtieth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and four.
