I, YOUSUF ABOSAMRA, of Epsom, near the City of Auckland, in New Zealand, Jeweller, do hereby give notice that on and after the 1st day of August, 1904, on behalf of myself and AMY ABOSAMRA, my wife, and my present and any future born children, the Christian name of DAVID and the surname of SILK will be assumed, taken, and adopted in lieu of the name of Yousuf Abosamra, by which I have been heretofore called and known; and that at all times hereafter the said name of DAVID SILK will alone be used and adopted by me and them in all transactions, documents, and writings, and all legal and other proceedings and matters. And I further give notice that a duplicate of this notice has been filed in the Supreme Court Office at Auckland, New Zealand.

THE TEVIOT AND ALEXANDRA FRUIT-GROWERS’ COMPANY (LIMITED), (IN LIQUIDATION).

NOTICE is hereby given that an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders in the Teviot and Alexandra Fruit-growers’ Company (Limited) was held at the Athenæum, Roxburgh, on the 30th day of July, 1904, when the following special resolution was adopted: “That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its position, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily.”

A further resolution was adopted immediately thereafter appointing JOHN TAMBLYN, of Coal Creek Flat, to be the Liquidator of the above company.

Under the control and supervision of the Education Department

Director: Mr. G. van Asch.

FOR Deaf Children of sound intellect. The pupils are taught to use and understand ordinary speech. The best age for entrance is between six and seven.

The full charge for board and education is £40 a year, but less is accepted from parents who cannot afford to pay this amount. In case of necessity admission is free.

Parents having dumb children between the ages of four and seven, and other persons desiring information with regard to the school, are invited to apply to
