In Bankruptcy.—In the Supreme Court, holden at Auckland.

NOTICE is hereby given that WALTER MAXWELL, of Cambridge, Storekeeper, carrying on business in copartnership with Arthur Harry Wright and Frederick James Sanders under the name of “The Q.C.E. Stores,” was this day adjudged bankrupt on the petition of John Burns and Co.; and I hereby summon a meeting of creditors, to be holden at my office, on Monday, the 25th day of July, 1904, at 2.30 o’clock.

NEW COMMISSIONERS’ FLAT GOLD-DREDGING COMPANY (LIMITED), (IN LIQUIDATION).

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882”; and in the matter of the New Commissioners’ Flat Gold-dredging Company (Limited), (in liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the shareholders in the above company, held on Wednesday, 20th day of July, 1904, at the office of the company, 145, Hereford Street, Christchurch, the following extraordinary resolution was passed, viz.: “That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the New Commissioners’ Flat Gold-dredging Company (Limited) cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is desirable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily”; and that at the same meeting Mr. H. A. BRUCE was appointed Liquidator of the said company.
