said Act, except the powers conferred by sections five and
twelve thereof, for the period of five years from the date
hereof (unless previously altered or revoked under the said
Act), to the undermentioned persons, who shall be known
as the Whangateau Domain Board, namely,
JOHN CHARLES WYATT,
HAROLD EDGAR WHITAKER,
JAMES DARROCH,
MICHAEL SMITH,
HARRY HADWICK,
DAVID DARROCH, and
JAMES ASHTON
(herein referred to as “the Board”), subject to the stipu-
lations hereinafter contained, that is to say,
-
The Board shall meet for the transaction of business on
the third Saturday in each month, at seven o'clock p.m.,
at the Domain Hall, Whangateau, or at such other time or
place as may from time to time be fixed by the Board. The
first meeting shall be held on Saturday, the twentieth day
of August, one thousand nine hundred and four. -
Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman or
by any two members of the Board, provided that two days’
notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying
the business to be transacted at such special meeting; and
no other business than that so specified shall be transacted
at such meeting. -
Any five members of the Board shall form a quorum.
Any meeting may be adjourned from time to time. -
The members of the Board shall, at their first meet-
ing, and thereafter at an annual meeting to be held on
the third Saturday in January in every succeeding year
thereafter, elect one of themselves to be Chairman, who
may join in the discussion, and shall have an original as
well as a casting vote. The Chairman shall hold office
until the election of his successor. -
The Board shall prepare and submit at each annual
meeting a report of the proceedings of the Board for the
previous year ending on the thirty-first day of December,
together with a statement of the receipts and expenditure of
the Board for such year. A copy of every such report and
statement, certified by the Chairman to be correct, shall be
sent to the Minister of Lands as soon as possible after each
annual meeting. -
If at any meeting the Chairman is not present at the
time appointed for holding the same, the members present
shall choose some one of their number to be chairman of
such meeting. -
If, by resignation, death, incapacity, or otherwise, the
office of Chairman shall be or become vacant, the members
may at any monthly or special meeting appoint a Chairman. -
All questions shall be determined by the majority of
votes of the members of the Board present at a meeting.
And with the like advice and consent as aforesaid doth
hereby also order that this delegation shall take effect in
respect of the parcel of Crown land described in the
Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
All that parcel of land in Auckland Land District, being
Section No. 156A, Omaha Parish, containing by admeasure-
ment 15 acres and 20 perches, more or less. Bounded
towards the north generally by a public road, 479, 136, and
603 links; towards the east by Section No. 156C, Parish of
Omaha, 1069 links; towards the south by Whangateau
Harbour; towards the south-west by Section No. 156B,
Parish of Omaha, 500 links; towards the north-west and
again towards the south-west by Section No. 156D, Parish of
Omaha, 200 and 250 links respectively; and again towards
the north-west by a public road, 942 links, to the point of
commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less:
as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the Dis-
trict Lands and Survey Office, Auckland.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-
fifth day of July, 1904.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in him by “The Public Domains Act, 1881,”
His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council thereof, doth hereby revoke a certain Order in
Council, dated the thirtieth day of March, one thousand
eight hundred and ninety-seven, making delegation of certain
powers in manner as therein appears; and doth hereby, with
the like advice and consent, and in respect of the land
hereinafter mentioned, delegate all the powers conferred by
the said Act, except the powers conferred by sections five
and twelve thereof, for the period of ten years from the
date hereof (unless previously altered or revoked under the
said Act), to
The RAGLAN COUNTY COUNCIL,
which shall be known as the Whaingaroa Domain Board
(herein referred to as “the Board”), subject to the stipula-
tions hereinafter contained, that is to say,

on the third Wednesday in the months of January, April,
July, and October, at half-past six o'clock p.m., at the
County Council Chambers, Ngaruawahia, or at such other
time or place as may from time to time be fixed by the
Board. The first meeting shall be held on Wednesday, the
nineteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and
four. -
Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman or
by any two members of the Board, provided that two days’
notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying
the business to be transacted at such special meeting; and
no other business than that so specified shall be transacted
at such meeting. -
Any three members of the Board shall form a quorum.

SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, contain-
ing by admeasurement 347 acres and 5 perches, more
or less, being Sections Nos. 86 and 86A, Parish of Waipa.
Bounded towards the north by Section No. 128; towards
the east by Section No. 219 and Section No. 135; towards
the south by the said Section No. 135 and Section No. 119A,
and by the northern boundary-line of the last-mentioned
section produced across a public road; and towards the west
by Sections Nos. 115 and 127: excluding from the above-
described area the public roads intersecting: as the same is
delineated on the plan deposited in the District Lands and
Survey Office, Auckland.
Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, being
Section No. 139 of the Parish of Whaingaroa, containing
by admeasurement 17 acres and 16 perches, more or less.
Bounded towards the north-east by the Waitetuna River
from its confluence with the Mangakino River; towards the
south-east by the abutment of a public road and Section
No. 130A of the said Parish of Whaingaroa; towards the
south-west by the said Section No. 130A, the crossing of a
public road, and again by the said Section No. 130A, to the
Mangakino River; and towards the west generally by the
Mangakino River to the point of commencement: excepting
from the above-described area a road varying in width: as
the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49231, de-
posited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
