Amending the Description of the Native Township of Roto-iti.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the description contained in the Schedule to a certain Proclamation made the eighth day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred, under the provisions of “The Native Townships Act, 1895,” setting apart land for the Native Township of Roto-iti :

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of all powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the description of the Native land so set aside as the Native Township of Roto-iti as aforesaid is that mentioned in the Schedule hereto, in lieu of that mentioned in the said Proclamation of the eighth day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred.

SCHEDULE.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 142 acres, more or less, being parts of Roto-iti and Tautara Native Blocks, situated in Block IX., Rotoma Survey District. Bounded towards the north by a right line running due east 4003·6 links from a point on the eastern shore of Lake Roto-iti, 151167·6 links south and 8877·1 links east of Trig. Station F, Maketu; thence towards the east by a right line running due south 3800 links; thence towards the south by a right line running due west to Lake Roto-iti, 3726·3 links; and thence towards the west by Lake Roto-iti to the place of commencement.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of July, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and four.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” and its amendments, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, with the consent of the owners and mortgagees of the lands hereinafter mentioned, and with the consent of the Stratford County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said lands are situated, do by this notice hereby proclaim as taken for a road the lands in the Ngatimaru Survey District hereinafter described, that is to say,—

All in the Taranaki Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above noted, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District.
