Sections 181 to 196A lie about seven miles from Taupiri Railway-station, and are open lands of poor quality, except Section 196A, which has about 7 acres scrubby bush. Sections 274 and 275, undulating land of fair quality; about sixteen miles from Wairangi Railway-station. These lands are situated at head of Mangawhara River, from fourteen to sixteen miles from Huntly and Ohinewai Railway-stations by cart-road and track.

These lands are close to the Matahura River. Section 38, open land, with a small area of swamp. Section 431, clay land, covered with fern and scrub. Section 438, poor land, situated on the Whangamarino River, navigable to within 13 chains of section.
