County Council, is published in accordance with
the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

FEATHERSTON COUNTY COUNCIL.
In the matter of subsection (4) of section 14 of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”
Special Order.
Notice is hereby given that, at a special meeting of the Featherston County Council held on Saturday, 12th March, 1904, it was resolved: That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Featherston County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,100, authorised to be raised by the Featherston County Council, under the provisions of subsection (4) of section 14 of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” for metalling the Pouatahi and Riverside Roads, and erection of a bridge over the Huangarua River, within the Martinborough Riding, the said Featherston County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¾d. in the pound sterling upon the valuation of all rateable property of the Waitawatautau Special-rating District, comprising Sections 68, 69, 73, 76, 77, 81, 53, 54, 57, 58, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, and 65, Blocks 6 and 7, Huangarua Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of July in each and every year during a period equal to the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off; and that a special meeting of the Council be held on Saturday, 9th April, 1904, to confirm such resolution.
I hereby certify that the above special order was duly made on the 12th day of March, 1904, and duly confirmed on the 9th day of April, 1904.

THE following special order, made by the Moa Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

MOA ROAD BOARD.
Notice is hereby given that the above Board intends at a special meeting to be held on Wednesday, the 17th day of February, 1904, to pass the following order:—
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Moa Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £100, authorised to be raised by the Moa Road Board under the above-mentioned Act, for rebuilding the bridge over the Kurapete Stream on the Everett Road, the said Moa Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 7/8d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Everett Road Special-rating District, comprising Sections 11, 12, 17, Block XIII., Waitara Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, at 4½ per centum per annum, or until the loan is fully paid off: all expenses in connection with raising this loan to be charged to the said loan.

HOBSON COUNTY.
Special Order.
“The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in them in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Hobson County Council do hereby resolve as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £5,500, authorised to be raised by the Hobson County Council under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” for the purpose of forming and part metalling the following roads: Mititai–Tokatoka Road—from Finger-post to Moginie’s, Moginie’s to top of Schwabe’s Bush, Schwabe’s Bush to Whittaker’s Hill, Tokatoka Flat and Whittaker’s Hill; Lusk’s Road—Whittaker’s Hill to Sill’s, Sill’s to Okahu Bridge, Okahu Bridge to Junction; Hoyle’s Road—metal, Mark’s Bush to Hoyle’s Trig., Hoyle’s Trig. to Okahu Bridge; Okahu Road—Simpkin’s old house to Kay’s, W. Simpkin’s to Junction; Arapohue Roads—Junction to Harding’s gate, Junction to creamery, metal and grading Paton’s Hill, road deviation through reserve, and from Mititai outwards: all within the Okahu Riding of Hobson County, and comprised in the Okahu Special-rating District, commencing at a point on the north-west corner of Section 108; from thence in a north-easterly line to north part of Section 17; from thence in a northerly line to north-west part of Section 61; from thence in an easterly line to north part of Section 72; from thence bounded by the Mongonui River to south-east point of Section 174; and from thence bounded by the Tokatoka–Mangapai County Boundary Road to south-west point of Section 1, Whaharara Parish; and from thence to point of commencement by the North Wairoa River,—the said Hobson County Council do hereby make and levy a special rate of 1d. in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all the rateable property in the aforesaid Okahu Special-rating District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of February in each and every year during a period of forty-one years, equal to the currency of such loan, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The common seal of the body corporate called the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of Hobson County was hereunto affixed by direction of the Council of Hobson County this 20th day of January, 1904, by and in the presence of—
