THE following successful and unsuccessful tender rates for the supply and delivery of lignite or brown coal for the New Zealand railways for 1904-5 are published for general information.

MINING NOTICES.

I, THE undersigned, hereby make application to register the Ulster Gold-mining Company (Limited) as a limited-liability company, under the provisions of “The Mining Companies Act, 1894,” and the amendments thereof.

  1. The name of the company is to be the Ulster Gold-mining Company (Limited).

  2. The place of intended operations is at Painkiller District, near Reefton, in the Provincial District of Nelson, Colony of New Zealand.

  3. The registered office of the company will be situated in Bridge Street, Reefton, County of Inangahua, Colony of New Zealand.

  4. The nominal capital of the company is seven thousand five hundred pounds, divided into thirty thousand shares of five shillings each.

  5. The number of shares subscribed for is thirty thousand, being the entire number of shares in the company.

  6. The number of paid-up shares is six thousand, numbered from 1 to 6,000 (both inclusive), paid up to one shilling and sixpence per share.

  7. The amount already paid up in cash is six hundred pounds.

  8. The name of the Manager is Thomas Hubert Lee.

  9. The names and addresses and occupations of the shareholders, and the number of shares held by each at this date, are as follows:—
