Authorising the Laying-off of the Main Street in the Town of Whiteleigh Extension, Canterbury Land District, of a Width of 66 ft.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section 2 of “The Towns Main Streets Act, 1902,” I, Thomas Young Duncan, Minister of Lands, do hereby authorise the laying-off of Whiteleigh Avenue, in the Town of Whiteleigh Extension, Canterbury Land District, of a width of 66 ft., instead of 99 ft. as prescribed by section 17 of “The Land Act, 1892.”

NOTE.—Rather a dry month, as over four-fifths of the total rain fell on three days. The maximum rainfall, 1·09 in., fell on the 13th. The prevailing winds were from the N. and N.W. Maximum temperature in the shade, 80·4°; minimum, 46·2°. Mean temperature of dew-point, 51·9°; humidity, 67.

“The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1900.”—
Notice of Proposed Cancellation of Registry.

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to applications in that behalf made to me by the industrial association of workers and the industrial unions of workers mentioned in the Schedule below, the registrations of the said association and unions will be cancelled at the expiration of six weeks from the date hereof unless within the six weeks specified proceedings be commenced by a member or other person interested in or having some claim on the funds of the industrial association or unions to set aside any of such cancellations, and any of the same are set aside accordingly.

NOTICE is hereby given that the registration of the Otago Hairdressers’ Assistants’ Industrial Union of Workers, No. 280, situated at Dunedin, is hereby cancelled as from the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Order of a Judge vesting Land in the Public Trustee under “The Unclaimed Lands Act, 1894.”

In the matter of “The Unclaimed Lands Act, 1894”; and in the matter of a parcel of land being Section No. 297 in the Town of New Plymouth.

I HEREBY give notice that by an order of His Honour Worley Bassett Edwards, Esquire, a Judge of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, holden at New Plymouth, made on the 3rd day of March, 1904, all that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Taranaki, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 1 perch, more or less, being Section numbered 297 in the Town of New Plymouth, was vested in the Public Trustee under and subject to the provisions of the above-mentioned Act.
