I, ALLASTER LACHLAN NAPIER-MACLEAN, late of 97, Crown Street, Aberdeen, Scotland, but now of the City of Wellington, M.B. Mast. Surg. University of Aberdeen, now residing in Wellington, hereby give notice that I intend applying on the 8th April next to have my name placed on the Medical Register for the Colony of New Zealand; and that I have deposited the evidence of my qualification in the office of the Registrar-General.

COOK COUNTY COUNCIL.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Council proposes to execute a certain public work, viz., the construction of a road from Poututu A Block to a point in Puhatikotiko Block No. 7 B1, and for that purpose to take the lands described in the Schedule hereto.

The works to be undertaken are formation and drainage for the purposes of a cattle-road. The land is owned by Mr. Walter Hutchinson.

Any person having any well-grounded objection to the taking of this land, or who will be injuriously affected by the proposed works, must state their objection in writing, and send the writing to the office of the County Council, Gisborne, on or before the 10th March, 1904.

A plan of the land proposed to be taken may be seen at the office of the Council, Gisborne, during office hours.

PURSUANT to the provisions of “The Companies Act, 1903” (section 302), notice is hereby given that the office of the above-named company has been removed from No. 52, Victoria Street, Wellington, to No. 48, Victoria Street, Wellington. Dated at Wellington, this 24th day of February, 1904.

In the matter of the Gore District Dairy Factory Company (Limited).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened, and held at the registered office of the said company, Mersey Street, Gore, Otago, New Zealand, on the 28th day of January, 1904, the following special resolution was duly passed, and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the members of the said company, also duly convened, and held at the same place on the 16th day of February, 1904, the said special resolution was duly confirmed, viz.:

“That the company be wound up voluntarily.”

And at such last-mentioned meeting JOHN LATHAM, of Gore aforesaid, Accountant, was appointed Liquidator for the purposes of the winding-up.
