LING OF REGISTRY.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Registrar of Friendly
Societies has, pursuant to section 10 of “The
Friendly Societies Act, 1882,” by writing under his hand
dated this 24th day of February, 1904, cancelled the registry
of the Court Activity, No. 7924, Register No. 144 (26), held
at Ohingaiti, Branch of the Wellington District Ancient
Order of Foresters, on the ground that the said branch has
ceased to exist.

PAHIATUA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,”
and “The Public Works Act, 1894.”
NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the Borough
of Pahiatua proposes, under the provisions of the
above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—
namely, the construction of drainage- and water-works in the
County of Pahiatua and the Borough of Pahiatua—and for
the purposes of such public work the lands described in the
Schedule hereto are required to be taken: And notice is
hereby given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken
is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the
said Council, situate in the Main Street, Borough of Pahiatua,
and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during
ordinary office hours; and that all persons affected by the
execution of the said public work or by the taking of such
land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the
execution of the said public work or to the taking of such
lands, set forth the same in writing, within forty days from
the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk,
Pahiatua.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A
SITE FOR A FREE PUBLIC LIBRARY IN THE
CITY OF DUNEDIN.
In the matter of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and
“The Public Works Act, 1903.”
NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City of
Dunedin proposes, under the provisions of “The
Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” and the amendments
thereof, to take, under the provisions of “The Public Works
Act, 1894,” and “The Public Works Act, 1903,” the land
mentioned in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of a
Free Public Library. And notice is hereby further given
that a plan showing the land required to be taken, together
with the names of the owners and occupiers of such land so
far as they can be ascertained, is deposited in the office of
the Town Clerk, Town Hall, situate in the Octagon, in the
said city, and is open for public inspection without fee by
all persons during ordinary office hours; and that all persons
affected by the taking of the said land shall, if they have
any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set
forth the same in writing, and send such writing within
forty days from the first publication of this notice to the
said City Council, addressed to the Town Clerk, at the offices
of such Council, situated in the Octagon aforesaid.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto
subsisting between the undersigned, ALICE THERESA
MCKENZIE and COLIN MCKENZIE, as Farmers, at Waikaiā,
has this day been dissolved by mutual consent.
All accounts owing to the said firm are to be paid to the
undersigned Colin McKenzie, by whom all debts and lia-
bilities of the said firm will be paid and discharged.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership which
has for some time past been carried on by FRANCIS
WILLIAM HIRTZEL and CLEMENT ARTHUR HIRTZEL, under the
firm of “Hirtzel Brothers,” in the business of Sheep-
farmers, near Herbertville, in the Provincial District of
Hawke’s Bay, was this day dissolved by mutual consent;
and notice is also hereby given that the said Clement
Arthur Hirtzel will receive and pay all debts owing to and
by the said firm.
