Additional Land at Lower Hutt taken for the Purposes of
the Wellington-Napier Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use,
convenience, and enjoyment of the Wellington-
Napier Railway to take further land at Lower Hutt, in ad-
dition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the
said railway:

Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of
the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections
twenty-eight and one hundred and sixty-seven of “The
Public Works Act, 1894,” and of every other power and
authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the lands mentioned in the Sche-
dule hereto are taken for the purposes above mentioned.

in the office of the Minister for Railways, at Wellington, in
the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured
blue and yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly;
Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished
Order of Saint Michael and Saint George;
Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over
His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its
Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the
said Colony, at the Government House, at Wel-
lington, this third day of February, in the year
of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and
four.

Revoking the Setting-apart of Land for Leasing as Small
Grazing-runs.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the sixth section of “The Land
Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare
that from and after the day of the date hereof the Pro-
clamation of the eighteenth day of September, one thousand
eight hundred and ninety-five, published in New Zealand
Gazette No. 72, of the twenty-sixth September, one thousand
eight hundred and ninety-five, setting apart the lands
enumerated in the Schedule thereto for leasing as small
grazing-runs, shall be and the same is hereby revoked in so
far as it relates to the lands mentioned in the Schedule
hereto.
