PRIVATE ADVERTISEMENTS.
IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND,
NORTHERN DISTRICT.
Under “The Divorce and Matrimonial Causes Act, 1904.”

To WALTER HORACE STEWART COLE, late of Auckland,
New Zealand, Traveller.
WHEREAS SARAH JANE COLE, of Pitt Street, in the
City of Auckland, in this district, Married Woman,
claiming to have been lawfully married to you, has filed her
petition against you in our said Court praying for the
dissolution of the said marriage, wherein she alleges that
you have been guilty of wilful desertion of her the said
Sarah Jane Cole, and without just cause have left her
continuously deserted during a period of upwards of five
years immediately preceding the date of the said petition:
Now, this is to command you that within twenty-eight
days after publication of this writ of summons in the
Government Gazette of this colony, inclusive of the day of
such publication, you do appear in our said Court then and
there to make answer to the said petition: And take notice
that in default of your so doing the said Court will proceed
to hear the said charge proved in due course of law, and to
pronounce sentence therein, your absence notwithstanding:
And take further notice that for the purpose aforesaid you
are to attend in person, or by your solicitor, at the Regis-
trar’s office, at Auckland, and there to enter an appearance,
without which you will not be allowed to address the Court
either in person or by counsel at any stage of the proceed-
ings in the cause.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto
existing between the undersigned, under the style or
firm of “O’Meara and James,” under which the timber
business at Mangatainoka has been carried on, is dissolved
as from 1st December, 1904. The business from that date
will be carried on by Mr. J. H. James alone.

NOTICE OF CHANGE OF SURNAME.
WE, JOSEPH HENRY DEATH, of Manakau, in the Pro-
vincial District of Wellington and Colony of New
Zealand, and OSSIAN JOHN GEORGE DEATH and REGINALD
MICHAEL BURDETT DEATH, of Otaki, in the provincial dis-
trict and colony aforesaid, all Sheep-farmers, do hereby
severally give notice that we have assumed, and intend
henceforth upon all occasions and at all times to sign and
use and be called and known by, the surname of “D’Ath”
only, in lieu of and substitution for our present surname of
“Death.” And we further give notice that such intended
change or assumption of name is formally declared and
evidenced by a deed-poll under our respective hands and
seals, dated this day, and intended to be enrolled in the
Supreme Court Office at Wellington, New Zealand. And
we, the said Joseph Henry Death and Reginald Michael
Burdett Death, hereby declare that this notice is given on
behalf of ourselves and our respective wives and our present
and any future-born children.
In testimony whereof we do hereby sign and subscribe
ourselves by such our intended future names.

I, HERBERT STOTT LINDSAY, Member Royal Col-
lege of Surgeons, England, Licentiate Royal College
of Physicians, London, now residing in Auckland, hereby
give notice that I intend applying on the 20th January,
1905, to have my name placed on the Medical Register
for the Colony of New Zealand, and that I have deposited
the evidence of my qualification in the office of the Regis-
trar of Births and Deaths at Auckland.
