amendments, unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same
within one month from the date of the Gazette containing
this notice.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of “The Tramways Act, 1894,” and “The
Public Works Act, 1894.”
NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City of
Wellington proposes, under the provisions of the above-
mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely,
the construction of electric tramways in the said city, and
for the purposes of such public work the land described in
the Schedule below is required to be taken. And notice is
hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to
be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk
to the said Council, situate at the corner of Brandon Street
and Featherston Street, in the said city, and is open for
inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office
hours; and that all persons affected by the execution of the
said public work or by the taking of such land should, if they
have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the
said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the
same in writing, and send such writing within forty days
from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk,
Wellington.

THE WANGANUI SETTLERS’ RIVER STEAMSHIP
COMPANY (LIMITED).

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 142 of
“The Companies Act, 1882,” that a General Meeting
of the members of the above-named company will be held at
my office, on Monday, the 29th day of February, 1904, at
2 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having an ac-
count laid before them showing the manner in which the
winding-up has been conducted and the property of the
company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that
may be given by the Liquidator.

was formerly carried on by ARTHUR GEORGE WILLIAMS
and ALFRED GEORGE SIMPSON, at Rissington and Napier,

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto
existing between the undersigned, under the firm of
“Saunders and Co.,” as Aerated-water Manufacturers, at
Christchurch, was dissolved as from the 5th day of Novem-
ber last, by mutual consent. The business will in future be
carried on by Mr. Charles Mansell Saunders, on his own
account, who will receive all moneys owing to and discharge
all debts owing by the late firm.
