THE PENINSULA FERRY COMPANY (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 202 of “The Companies Act, 1892,” that a General Meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held at the company’s registered office, No. 1, Bond Street, Dunedin, on Friday, the 29th day of January, 1904, at 5 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator, and also of determining, by extraordinary resolution, the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the Liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between FRANCIS FOWLER, WILLIAM SQUIRE FOWLER, GEORGE SQUIRE FOWLER, and FREDERICK STOKES, trading at Auckland as “F. and W. Fowler,” is dissolved by mutual consent as from the 3rd day of October, 1903. The business will in future be carried on by the remaining partners, Francis Fowler, George Squire Fowler, and Frederick Stokes.

COOK COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE is hereby given that this Council proposes to execute a public work, viz., the construction of a public road, and for that purpose to take the lands described in the Schedule hereto. The works to be undertaken are formation and the construction of drains for the passage of surface water.
The owner of the land to be taken is Mr. E. P. Joyce. Any person having any objection to the taking of this land, or who will be injuriously affected by the proposed works, must state his objection in writing, and send the writing to the office of the Council at Gisborne on or before the 7th December, 1903.

I, WALTER HISLOP, Manager of the Perpetual Trustees Estate and Agency Company of New Zealand (Limited), do solemnly and sincerely declare—
- That the liability of members is limited.
- That the capital of the company is £106,350, divided into 25,000 shares of £4 5s.
- That the number of shares issued is 21,669.
- That calls to the amount of 7s. 6d. per share have been made, under which the sum of £8,125 17s. 6d. has been received.
- That the amount of all moneys received on account of estates under administration during the half-year ending 31st day of October, 1903, is £14,764 12s. 4d.
- That the amount of all moneys paid on account of estates under administration during the half-year ending 31st day of October, 1903, is £16,113 8s. 9d.
- That the amount of the balance held to the credit of estates under administration during the half-year ending 31st day of October, 1903, is £1,500 15s. 4d.
- That the liabilities of the company on the 1st day of November last were debts owing to sundry persons by the company, viz.: On judgment, nil; on specialty, nil; on notes or bills, nil; on simple contracts, £8,862 2s. 11d.; on estimated liabilities, nil.
- That the assets of the company on that date were: Government securities, £2,500; bills of exchange and promissory notes, nil; other securities, £13,413 17s. 3d.; cash at banker’s and on deposit, £5,835 9s. 3d.
And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true, and by virtue of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled “The Justices of the Peace Act, 1882.”
