A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do by this notice hereby proclaim as closed the roads in the Clifford Bay Survey District hereinafter described, that is to say,—

Land temporarily reserved in the Wellington Land District.
RANFURLY, Governor.
WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Wellington Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the said Schedule specified at the end of the description of the land so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being Section No. 6, Block VI., Mataroa Township. Bounded towards the north-west by Section No. 5; towards the north-east by Sections Nos. 7 and 9; towards the south-east by Section No. 8; and towards the south-west by a public street: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 51344, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For a mechanics’ institute and library reserve.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this fourteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and three.

Preparation of Jury Lists for District Court, Pahiatua.
RANFURLY, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section forty-nine of “The Juries Act, 1880,” I, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby order and direct that, for the occasion of the sittings of the District Court to be held at Pahiatua for the trial of civil and criminal cases, the Jury Officer (being the Clerk of the Magistrate’s Court) at Pahiatua, and all Justices of the Peace, Registrars, Clerks, or other officers of Courts, constables, and Sheriffs, shall, on or before the twenty-sixth day of January next, do and perform all such acts, matters, and things in and towards preparing, collecting, allowing, sending, and delivering the lists of men qualified and liable to serve on juries within the Jury District of Pahiatua, and making out the jury books for such jury district, as by the said Act are required to be done.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this seventeenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and three.

IN exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the one-hundred-and-eighty-ninth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

Commissioners to classify and report to me upon the rural lands in the Amuri County, Canterbury Land District, known as Runs numbers 6, 3, 4, 5, 235, 4A, and 12, as provided by section one hundred and eighty-nine of “The Land Act, 1892,” aforesaid.
