Rural Lands in the Hawke’s Bay Land District open for Sale or Selection.
District Lands and Survey Office, Napier, 23rd September, 1903.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned lands will be open for sale or selection, at this office, in terms of section 136 of “The Land Act, 1892,” either for cash, for occupation with right of purchase, or for lease in perpetuity, at the option of the selector, on Friday, the 20th day of November, 1903.
If more than one application is received for the same section on the same day, the order of selection shall be decided by ballot.

Hilly forest land, covered with tawa, rimu, kahikatea, matai, totara, rewarewa, hinau, miro, black-birch, &c. ; well watered, and soil good. Altitude, from 800 ft. to 2,000 ft. Distance from Wairoa by road, twenty-eight miles.

Rough broken pastoral country, intersected by two deep ravines; good flat-topped ridges; soil fair, on formation of schist rock and clay; heavily timbered, principally black and red birch, with some rimu, matai, and mixed bush; well watered by permanent streams. Altitude ranges from 1,500 ft. to 2,500 ft. Distant twenty-six miles from Waipawa Railway-station by good road.

All objections to the granting of such certificate must be lodged with me within fourteen days from the publication of this notice.
