ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this tenth day
of November, 1903.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by an Order in Council issued on the
fourth day of December, one thousand eight hundred
and ninety-three, under the authority of the one-hundred-
and-sixty-ninth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” fixing
the terms and conditions upon which lands in Makohine
Village Settlement should be disposed of, it was provided
that no lessee should hold more than one allotment in the
said village settlement:
And whereas it is expedient to allow one person to hold
two allotments in the Makohine Village Settlement:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor, in pur-
suance of all powers and authorities enabling him in that
behalf, and by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the Colony of New Zealand, doth
hereby amend the Order in Council aforesaid so far as it
affects the number of allotments that may be held in the
Makohine Village Settlement, and doth by this present Order
declare that on and after the date hereof any settler may
apply for and acquire two allotments therein; and it is
hereby further declared that all the provisions of the Order
in Council of the fourth day of December, one thousand
eight hundred and ninety-three, aforesaid, shall apply to the
Makohine Village Settlement, except as regards the num-
ber of allotments that may be held.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this tenth day
of November, 1903.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Bluff Harbour Board, being a leasing
authority within the meaning of “The Public
Bodies’ Powers Act, 1887” (hereinafter termed “the said
Act”), has requested that these presents should issue, and
it appears expedient to make the order hereinafter con-
tained:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth
hereby order and declare that the Bluff Harbour Board
shall, as from the date of the publication hereof in the New
Zealand Gazette, be subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Vesting Reserves in the Hamilton Borough Council.

WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto
have been permanently set aside as public-pound
reserves:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is ex-
pedient to vest the said lands in the Hamilton Borough
Council:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in
exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the
fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” doth
hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date
hereof, the reserves mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall
become vested in “The Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses
of the Borough of Hamilton,” in trust, for public-pound
purposes.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District, con-
taining by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Sec-
tion No. 36, Town of Hamilton East.
Also all that parcel of land in the Auckland Land Dis-
trict, containing by admeasurement 2 roods, more or less,
being Section No. 255A, Town of Hamilton West.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this tenth day

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by
the twenty-fourth section of “The Public Reserves
Act, 1881,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
colony, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for
public recreation in the Canterbury Land District de-
scribed in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is
hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be
subject to the provisions of “The Public Domains Act,
1881”; and such domain shall hereafter be managed, ad-
ministered, and dealt with in manner directed by the said
Act.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Canterbury Land District,
containing 122 acres, more or less, being Reserve No. 3658,
and formerly part of Reserve No. .1579, situated in
Block XVI., Rangiora Survey District. Bounded towards
the north-west by a line in continuation of the north-
western boundary of Rural Section No. 9560 to a point dis-
tant about 20 chains from the sea-coast; thence southerly by
a line averaging about 20 chains distant and parallel to the
sea-coast to a point on the road reserved along the northern
bank of the River Waimakariri; thence westerly along the
said road to the Saltwater Creek; thence northerly along
the said creek to the commencing-point: as the same is
delineated upon the plan marked S.G. 49135, deposited in
the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wel-
ington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged
red.

Vesting of a Rifle Range in the Hon. Minister of Defence.
RANFURLY, Governor.
WHEREAS the Trentham Rifle Range Reserve (being
the land described in the Schedule hereto) has been
acquired by His Majesty as a public reserve for the pur-
poses of a rifle range, but has not been granted or vested in
any particular manner:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers in this
behalf conferred upon him by “The Public Reserves Act,
1881,” doth hereby approve that the Right Honourable the
Minister of Defence shall have the control and manage-
ment of the said reserve.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece of land, containing 95 acres and 20 perches,
more or less, being the Section No. 285 in the public map of
the Hutt District, deposited in the office of the Chief Sur-
veyor at Wellington; also all that parcel of land, containing
1,171 acres or thereabout, situate in the Provincial District
of Wellington, comprising Sections 100, 104, 105, 106, 107,
108, 109 (A), 206, and part of Section 96, on the public map
of the Hutt District, deposited in the office of the Chief
Surveyor, at Wellington, and being all the land comprised
in certificates of title, Vol. xxx., folio 25; Vol. xxx., folio 26;
and Vol lvii., folio 4, Wellington Land Registration Dis-
trict.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this third day of November, one thousand nine
hundred and three.
