Revoking Orders in Council vesting Management of Tea Point Wharf in Omaha Road Board, and prescribing Dues and Rates for Little Omaha and Tea Point Wharves, Whangateau Harbour.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this fifth day of November, 1903.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the ninth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 68, of the twelfth day of the same month, His Excellency the Governor in Council did, in pursuance of the provisions of “The Harbours Act, 1878,” vest the management of Tea Point Wharf, in Whangateau Harbour, in the Provincial District of Auckland, in the Omaha Road Board:
And whereas by an Order in Council dated the fifteenth day of August, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-eight, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 62, of the eighteenth day of the same month, His Excellency the Governor in Council did, in pursuance of the provisions of “The Harbours Act, 1878,” prescribe dues and rates for the use of Little Omaha and Tea Point Wharves, in Whangateau Harbour:
And whereas the Omaha Road Board has merged into the Rodney County Council, and it is desirable to revoke the said Orders in Council:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise of all the powers enabling him in that behalf, doth hereby revoke and determine the said recited Orders in Council, and every right, power, and privilege conferred thereby or intended so to be.

Powers delegated to the Featherston Domain Board under “The Public Domains Act, 1881.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this second day of November, 1903.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by “The Public Domains Act, 1881,” His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby revoke certain Orders in Council, dated the seventeenth day of January, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five, and the second day of April, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five, making delegation of certain powers in manner as therein appears; and doth hereby, with the like advice and consent, and in respect of the land hereinafter mentioned, delegate all the powers conferred by the said Act, except the powers conferred by sections five and twelve thereof, for the period of ten years from the date hereof (unless previously altered or revoked under the said Act), to
THE FEATHERSTON TOWN BOARD,
which shall be known as the Featherston Domain Board (herein referred to as “the Board”), subject to the stipulations hereinafter contained, that is to say,—

The Board shall meet for the transaction of business on the first Monday in each month, at seven o'clock p.m., at the Town Board Office, Featherston, or at such other time or place as may from time to time be fixed by the Board. The first meeting shall be held on Monday, the seventh day of December, one thousand nine hundred and three.

Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman or by any two members of the Board, provided that two days’ notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying the business to be transacted at such special meeting; and no other business than that so specified shall be transacted at such meeting.

Any three members of the Board shall form a quorum. Any meeting may be adjourned from time to time.

The Chairman of the Town Board shall be the Chairman of the Domain Board. He may join in the discussion, and shall have an original as well as a casting vote.

The Board shall prepare and submit at each annual meeting a report of the proceedings of the Board for the previous year ending on the thirty-first day of December, together with a statement of the receipts and expenditure of the Board for such year. A copy of every such report and statement, certified by the Chairman to be correct, shall be sent to the Minister of Lands as soon as possible after each annual meeting.

If at any meeting the Chairman is not present at the time appointed for holding the same, the members present shall choose some one of their number to be chairman of such meeting.

All questions shall be determined by the majority of votes of the members of the Board present at a meeting.
And with the like advice and consent as aforesaid doth hereby also order that this delegation shall take effect in respect of the parcel of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 57 acres 2 roods, more or less, being the Town Reserves on the plan of the Township of Featherston. Bounded towards the north by Rural Section No. 66, the abutment of a public road, and Suburban Section No. 120, 1700 links; towards the east by Town Sections Nos. 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, and 62, and the abutments of Hart Street, Revans Street, Fox Street, Bell Street, and Harrison Street, and by the north side of Fox Street, 5600 links; towards the south by the main line of road from Wellington to Featherston, 650 links; and towards the west by Suburban Section No. 464, and by Rural Section No. 516, 4803 links.
Also all that parcel of land in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 22 acres, more or less, being Section No. 338 on the plan of the Township of Featherston. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 487 and main line of road from Wellington, 2400 links; towards the east by Sections Nos. 1 and 2, 720 links; and towards the south by the Otaiura River, 4400 links.
Also all that parcel of land in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Suburban Section No. 122 on the plan of the Township of Featherston. Bounded towards the north-east by Suburban Section No. 115, 1000 links; towards the south-east by Johnston Street, 500 links; towards the south-west by Harrison Street, 1000 links; and towards the north-west by Wakefield Street, 500 links.
Also all that parcel of land in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 16 perches, more or less, being part of Section No. 152, Town of Featherston. Bounded towards the north by Fitzherbert Street; towards the east by Wellington and Masterton Railway-line; and towards the south by Revans Street.
Also all that parcel of land in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres and 29 perches, more or less, being parts of Sections Nos. 116 and 123, Town of Featherston. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 109; towards the east by Wellington and Masterton Railway-line; towards the south by Bell Street; and towards the west by Johnston Street.
Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same are delineated on the plan deposited in the District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington.
