THE AUCKLAND ELECTRIC TRAMWAYS COMPANY (LIMITED).

NOTICE is hereby given,—

  1. That a certified copy of a new power of attorney (in lieu of all previous powers), dated the 20th day of November, 1902, from the Auckland Electric Tramways Company (Limited), incorporated in London under the Companies Acts, 1862-98, to Paul Maximilian Hansen, Esq., the Attorney and Representative of the said company in and for the Colony of New Zealand, has been duly deposited in the office of the Registrar of the Supreme Court at Auckland.

  2. That the office of the said company is in the New Zealand Shipping Company’s Buildings, Queen Street, Auckland.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and the amendments thereof; and in the matter of Edwards, Russell, and Co. (Limited).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the abovenamed company, duly convened, and held at the offices of Messrs. A. J. McTavish and Co., No. 33, Lambton Quay, Wellington, on the 30th day of December, 1902, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed : “That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily.” And at the same meeting WILLIAM EDWIN REDSTONE and HENRY BRITTAIN were appointed Liquidators for the purposes of such winding-up.
