behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of
the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order
and declare that the descriptions of the Hunua Road Dis-
trict and of the Opaheke Road District appearing in the
Schedules to the aforesaid Orders in Council are hereby
rectified in such wise as that the boundaries of the said
road districts shall be those described in the Schedule
hereto.

SCHEDULE.

HUNUA ROAD DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, bounded
towards the north generally by the Wairoa Road District, as
described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 76, 25th September,
1902, from the western boundary of the Hunua Parish to
the Wairoa River; thence by the Wairoa River to a point in
line with the southern boundary-line of Section No. 50,
Otau Parish; thence by a right line to the south-western
corner of the said Section No. 50; thence by Sections Nos.
50, 49, 48, 2, 86, and 90, Otau Parish aforesaid, to the road
forming the western boundary of Section No. 98; thence by
that road to the south-western corner of the said Section
No. 98; and thence by that section to its south-eastern
corner: thence towards the east generally by Section No. 54
to the road forming the eastern boundary of Section No. 65A;
thence by that road to the northern boundary of Section No.
64, Otau Parish; thence by that section to the road forming
its western boundary; thence by that road and its continua-
tion past Sections Nos. 63 and 62 to the south-eastern corner
of Section No. 69: thence towards the south generally by
the southern boundary-line of the said Section No. 69, and
part of its south-western boundary-line, for a distance of
2287 links to the south-eastern boundary-line of the
northern portion of Section No. 37, Otau Parish aforesaid;
thence by that boundary-line to the road forming the north-
eastern boundary of Section No. 128, Opaheke Parish;
thence by that road to the road forming the eastern bound-
ary of Section No. 204; thence by a right line across that
road, and by its western side and the western side of the road
forming the eastern boundary of Section No. 200 and part
of the eastern boundary of Section No. 94, to the road inter-
secting the northern portion of the said Section No. 94;
thence by the western side of that road and the western side
of the road intersecting the eastern portions of Sections
Nos. 95 and 96 to the boundary-line between Sections Nos.
96 and 127, Opaheke Parish aforesaid; thence by that
boundary-line and its production to the Mangawheau
Stream; thence by the southern boundary of the Hunua
Parish to the south-western corner of Section No. 199,
Hunua Parish aforesaid: and thence towards the west
generally by part of the western boundary of the Hunua
Parish aforesaid, and by the Drury Road District (formerly
known as the Opaheke North Road District), as described
in the New Zealand Gazette No. 9, 2nd February, 1899, to
the place of commencement.

OPAHEKE ROAD DISTRICT.

All that area in the Auckland Land District bounded
towards the north generally by the Drury Road District
(formerly known as the Opaheke North Road District), as
described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 9, 2nd February,
1899, from the middle of the Great South Road to the western
boundary-line of Section No. 199, Hunua Parish; thence by
the Hunua Road District, hereinbefore described, to the
eastern boundary-line of Section No. 81A, Otau Parish: thence
towards the east generally by the eastern boundary-lines of
Sections Nos. 81A, 12, and 13, Otau Parish, to the south-eastern
corner of the last-mentioned section: thence towards the
south generally by the southern boundary-line of the said
Section No. 13 and that line produced across a road 100 links
wide, by the western side of the road which forms the
western boundaries of Sections Nos. 13, 12, and 11, Otau
Parish, to the northern corner of Section No. 130, Parish of
Opaheke; thence by the eastern side of the road forming
the north-western boundary of the last-mentioned section to
a point in line with the southern boundary-line of Section
No. 128, across that road by Section No. 129 to the road
forming the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 250;
thence by that road and its continuation to the north-eastern
corner of Section No. 117; thence by the northern boundary
of the said Section No. 117 and its production to the western
side of the road which forms the western boundary of Sec-
tion No. 91, Parish of Opaheke aforesaid; thence by the
western and southern sides of that road to the north-eastern
corner of Section No. 251; thence by the eastern and
southern boundary-lines of that section, and part of the
south-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 122 and the last-
mentioned boundary-line produced to the southern side of
the road forming the south-western boundary of the said
Section No. 122; thence by the south-western and eastern
sides of that road to a point on the same being the pro-
duction of the southern boundary-line of Section No. 170;

thence by that line and the southern boundary-line of the
said Section No. 170 produced to the western side of the
road forming its western boundary; thence by the western
side of that road to the north-eastern corner of Section No.
169; thence by that section and Section No. 166 to the road
forming the western boundary of the last-mentioned sec-
tion; and thence by the eastern and southern sides of that
road past Sections Nos. 166, 220, 198, 218, and 163, Parish of
Opaheke aforesaid, and its continuation to the middle of
the Great South Road: and thence towards the west by a
line along the middle of the Great South Road to the place
of commencement.

Native Lands in Ngarara West “A” Block, Kaitawa and
Kapiti Survey Districts, to be taken for Roads.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this fourteenth
day of September, 1903.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto
are required to be taken for a public work, to wit,
the construction of roads:

And whereas the said lands are held or occupied by Native
owners, and the title thereto is not derived from the Crown:
And whereas a map of the said lands has been prepared in
duplicate, as required by the eighty-eighth section of “The
Public Works Act, 1894”:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
vested in him by the said Act, and of all other powers in
anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
colony, doth hereby declare that the lands shown upon such
map, and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be deemed
to be taken for the purposes of the public work hereinbefore
mentioned; and the said lands shall vest in His Majesty
King Edward the Seventh, as from the twenty-ninth day
of October, one thousand nine hundred and three.

Waimarino Acclimatisation District defined.

RANFURLY, Governor.

IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities
vested in me by “The Animals Protection Act, 1880,”
I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of
the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the County
of Waimarino, as particularly described in the Schedule to
“The Waimarino County Act, 1902,” to be a district under
the said “Animals Protection Act, 1880”; and I do further
appoint such district to be known as the Waimarino Accli-
matisation District.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this fifth day of October, one thousand nine
hundred and three.
