Land set apart for Settlement.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by the seventy-third section of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901” (herein termed “the said Act”), it is, amongst other things, enacted that, before certain moneys therein mentioned shall be expended upon any block of land, it shall be necessary that the same be proclaimed as set apart for settlement:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of every power and authority enabling me in this behalf, and for the purposes of the said Act, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land described in the Schedule hereto as set apart for settlement.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

Opuawhanga No. 1 Block (Extension), 320 Acres (more or less).

Area. Parts of Sections Nos. Block. Survey District. Shown on Plan marked Coloured on Plan
A. R. P. 320 0 0 26A, 30 IV. Opuawhanga S.G. 19939A Red.

As the same is delineated upon the plan marked as above mentioned deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above noted.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly; Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of September, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and three.

SCHEDULE.

OUMAUKU BLOCK, AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT (9,770 ACRES).

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, situate in Blocks XI. and XII., Opotiki Survey District, and Blocks III. and IV., Waioeka Survey District, containing by admeasurement 9,770 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east generally by Sections Nos. 325, 326, 327, 328, 329, and 330 of the Parish of Waioeka, and by Sections Nos. 1, 7, 6, and again by Section No. 7, of Block XII., Opotiki Survey District; towards the east generally by a road 100 links wide running along the western bank of the Te Waiti Stream; towards the south by the confiscation boundary-line; towards the west generally by a road 100 links wide running along the eastern bank of the Waioeka River, by Sections Nos. 5 and 2 of Block III., Waioeka Survey District, and by Sections Nos. 375A and 441 of the Parish of Waiotahi; and towards the north-west generally by a public road, by Sections Nos. 4, 3, and 1 of Block III., Waioeka Survey District, by Section No. 1 of Block XI., Opotiki Survey District, by Sections Nos. 373, 372A, 365A, 366, and 367 of the Parish of Waioeka, and by a public road to the point of commencement: save and except Sections Nos. 2, 3, 4, and 5 of Block XII., Opotiki Survey District. and Sections Nos. 1, 2, and 2A of Block IV., Waioeka Survey District, from the area hereinbefore described: as the same is delineated upon the plan marked S.G. 50247, deposited in the Head Office, Lands and Survey Department, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged with red.

Proclaiming the Taking of Lands for a Road in Block XIII., Drury Survey District, Waiuku East Parish, Manukau County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” and its amendments, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, with the consent of the lessees and trustees of the lands hereinafter mentioned, and with the consent of the Mauku Road Board, being the local authority in whose district the said lands are situated, do by this notice hereby proclaim as a road the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” and its amendments, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, with the consent of the lessee of the land hereinafter mentioned, and with the consent of the Temuka Road Board, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, do by this notice hereby proclaim as a road the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto;
