to time be prepared; and with respect to every such supplementary list or roll the following regulations shall apply:—
(1.) The names shall be entered therein in alphabetical order of surnames, and shall be numbered consecutively, commencing with the number next following the last number in the preceding list then in force.
(2.) Each supplementary sub-district electors’ list shall be deemed to be incorporated with the original sub-district electors’ list, and, when amended, corrected, signed, and certified in manner provided by Regulation 11, shall be the supplementary district electors’ roll, and be deemed to be incorporated with the original district electoral roll then in force.

Appeals to a Stipendiary Magistrate under section 7 of the principal Act may be made as follows:—
(1.) An objection in writing under the hand of the objector shall be lodged with the Clerk of the Magistrate’s Court not later than the 10th day of October, 1903, and a copy of such objection shall also on or before the said day be lodged with the Secretary of the Board.
(2.) The objection may be in the form of the Third Schedule hereto, or as near thereto as may be.
(3.) The Magistrate shall hear and determine the appeal at such convenient time and place, not being later than ten days after the last day appointed for lodging such objections, as he appoints, and not less than seven days’ notice shall be given of the date so appointed. -
(a.) As soon as practicable after the original sub-district electoral roll or any supplementary roll comes into force copies thereof shall be printed by the Board.
(b.) But where the total number of electors on the roll or supplementary roll does not exceed 200 the Board may declare that such roll or supplementary roll shall be typewritten and not printed.
(c.) The Secretary shall supply any person with a copy of the printed or typewritten sub-district electoral roll, together with all its printed or typewritten supplements, on payment of 1s. -
The Secretary is liable to a penalty not exceeding £5 in every case where he refuses, or wilfully neglects, or unreasonably delays—
(1.) To place on the district electors’ list the name of any person who makes written claim for enrolment as provided by paragraph (b) of clause 3 of these regulations; or
(2.) To faithfully and properly perform any other duty imposed on him by the Act or these regulations. -
If the Board fails or unreasonably delays to keep at the Board’s office a supply of blank printed claim-forms for the free use of claimants as provided by clause 5 of these regulations, or to faithfully and promptly perform any other duty imposed on it by the Act or these regulations, every person (whether the Secretary or any member of the Board) who is a party to or responsible for such failure or delay is severally liable to a penalty not exceeding £5.

The preparation of any subsequent list of electors for the Sub-district of Riccarton-Sockburn shall be completed in accordance with the regulations governing the preparation of the electors’ lists for the Christchurch Tramways District issued on the 29th day of April, 1903.

[Set out the description and situation of the building, or, if more than one, then of each building occupied during any portion of the three months, specifying in each case the name of the landlord, the term of the tenancy, the rental payable thereunder, the period of actual occupation, and, if the number of occupants under the tenancy exceeds one, the number of them and the name of each of them.]
