Sitting of the Native Land Court at Maketu, Bay of Plenty, on 17th February, 1903.
ASCERTAINMENT OF NAMES OF BENEFICIAL OWNERS OF PART OF BLOCK.
Motiti B (199B.P.-26, 3/174).
WHEREAS by section 14 of “The Native Land Claims Adjustment and Laws Amendment Act, 1901,” the Court is authorised and directed to ascertain who were the 187 Natives, referred to in paragraph 12 of the First Schedule to “The Special Powers and Contracts Act, 1886,” whose names were decided upon at a meeting of the Patuwai Tribe, held at Tauranga, in February, in the year 1886, as the beneficial owners of the northern portion of Motiti B Block, containing 166 acres, and being the whole of the land comprised in Vol. xlvi., folio 184, of the Land Transfer Register of the Auckland District, and what was the individual share or interest of each person :
Now, therefore, notice is hereby given that a sitting of the Native Land Court will be held at Maketu, Bay of Plenty, on Tuesday, the 17th day of February, 1903, to inquire into and determine the said matter. All persons interested are hereby notified to attend at the time and place aforesaid.

NOTICE is hereby given that an application has been made to a Judge of the Court for a certificate under section 55 of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894,” confirming the alienation hereunder specified. All objections to the granting of such certificate must be lodged with me within fourteen days from the publication of this notice.
