Lands taken for a Road through Section 36, E.R., and Part of Closed Road, Block XV., Jacob's River Hundred.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, with the consent of the owners and of the lessee of the lands hereinafter mentioned, and with the consent of the Wallace County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said lands are situated, do by this notice hereby proclaim as taken for a road the lands in Jacob’s River Hundred hereinafter described, that is to say,—

All in the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above noted, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly; Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this first day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and three.

Revoking a Proclamation.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section six of “The Land Act, 1892,” and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do by this notice hereby revoke a Proclamation, dated the ninth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and three, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the fifteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and three, taking land for a road through Section 36, Block XV., Jacob’s River Hundred, Wallace County.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly; Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this first day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and three.

Rule under “The Supreme Court Act, 1882.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this thirty-first day of August, 1903.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred by the thirty-first section of “The Supreme Court Act, 1882,” His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, and with the concurrence of His Honour the Chief Justice and His Honour Mr. Justice Williams, a Judge of the Supreme Court of the said colony, doth hereby make the following rule, and doth declare that such rule shall take effect on and after the first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and three:—
Rule 532B. The Second Schedule, Table C, Scale of Costs, shall be amended by adding at the end of item 14, after the word “each,” the words “per day, not exceeding.”

ERRATUM.—In Proclamation taking lands for streets in Township of Blackball, published in New Zealand Gazette of the 20th August, 1903, page 1817, for “Nelson Land District” read “Westland Land District.”
