At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-seventh day of May, 1903.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE R. J. SEDDON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in him by “The Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Act, 1877,” His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby incorporate the members of the Waikato Central Agricultural Association, and such persons as shall hereafter be admitted members of the said association, agreeably to the rules of the said association and the provisions of the said Act, into a body corporate under the said Act, under the style and title of “The Waikato Central Agricultural Association.”

Trustee for the Hunter ville Public Cemetery appointed.

RANFURLY, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

ROBERT DALZIELL

to be a Trustee, in the place of George Valder, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Hunter ville Public Cemetery, in conjunction with the other persons previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this second day of June, one thousand nine hundred and three.

Branding Registration Districts of Blenheim, Picton, and Kaikoura abolished, and Branding Registration Districts of Sounds, Marlborough, Awatere, and Kaikoura constituted; also Registrars and Registration Offices appointed.— Notice No. 784.

RANFURLY, Governor.

WHEREAS it is expedient that the Blenheim, Picton, and Kaikoura Branding Registration Districts should be abolished, and that new branding registration districts, to be known as the Sounds, Marlborough, Awatere, and Kaikoura Branding Registration Districts, should be constituted:

Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by “The Stock Act, 1893,” do hereby abolish the Blenheim, Picton, and Kaikoura Branding Registration Districts, and in lieu thereof do hereby constitute the Sounds, Marlborough, Awatere, and Kaikoura Branding Registration Districts, and declare that the said districts shall hereafter be comprised as described in the Schedule hereto, and also do hereby appoint the persons and places named in the said Schedule to be the Registrars and Registration Offices of the said districts respectively.


SCHEDULE.

Branding Registration District. Registrar. Place of Registration Office.
The Sounds Branding Registration District.
To comprise all that portion of the Marlborough and Nelson Land Districts commencing at White’s Bay, Port Underwood, thence by a straight line to Tuamarina Village, thence by the Tuamarina River to the Wairau River, and by that river to the Waikakaho River, thence by that river for a distance of four (4) miles, thence in a straight line to Mount Riley, thence by the summit of the dividing-range between the Pelorus and Wairau Valleys to “Old Man,” thence by the boundary of the land district to the Ronga Saddle, thence by the road to Okiwi Bay, thence by the sea to the point of commencement; including D’Urville Island and all adjacent islands. The Marlborough Branding Registration District.
To comprise all that portion of the Marlborough Land District bounded on the north by the Sounds Branding Registration District from “Old Man” to White’s Bay, on the east by the sea from White’s Bay to the mouth of the Awatere River, on the south-east by the Awatere River from its mouth to the northern boundary of the Molesworth Run, and thence westerly by that boundary to its intersection with the land district boundary, and by that boundary to “Old Man.” John Moore Borough of Blenheim.
The Awatere Branding Registration District.
To comprise all that portion of the Marlborough Land District bounded on the north-west by the Awatere River from its mouth to the boundary of the Molesworth Run, thence in a south-easterly direction by that boundary to the Clarence River, thence by that river to the sea, thence to the mouth of the Awatere River. John Moore Borough of Blenheim.
The Kaikoura Branding Registration District.
To comprise the County of Kaikoura. John Munro Town of Rotherham.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-sixth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and three.
