BANKRUPTCY NOTICE.
In Bankruptcy.—In the District Court of Wangannui, holden at Palmerston North.
NOTICE is hereby given that JOHN WILLIAM PEMBER-
TON PROCTER, of Levin, formerly Hotelkeeper, Marton,
was this day adjudged bankrupt; and I hereby summon a
meeting of creditors, to be helden at the Courthouse, Mar-
ton, on Wednesday, the 17th day of June, 1903, at 2 o'clock.

MINING NOTICES.
In the matter of “The Mining Companies Act, 1891,” and
its amendments, and of a company proposed to be regis-
tered thereunder as the Duke of Gordon Dredging Com-
pany (No Liability).
I, THE undersigned, hereby make application to register
the Duke of Gordon Dredging Company as a no-
liability company, under the provisions of “The Mining
Companies Act, 1894.”
- The name of the company is to be the Duke of Gordon
Dredging Company (No Liability). - The place of intended operations is at Waikaia.
- The registered office of the company will be situated
at Crawford Street, Dunedin. - The value of the company’s property, including dredg-
ing rights, dredge, and machinery, is £4,000. - The number of shares in the company is 8,000, of £1
each. - The number of shares subscribed for is 8,000.
- The name of the Manager is John Ferguson Harper.
- The names and addresses and occupations of the share-
holders, and the number of shares held by each at this date,
are as below:—

TAKE notice that a General Meeting of the members of
the above-named company will be held at the registered
office of the company, Ross Place, Lawrence, on Wednesday,
the 5th August, 1903, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the
purpose of having an account laid before them showing the
manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and
the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any
explanation that may be given by the Liquidator, and also
of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in
which the books, accounts, and documents of the company
and of the Liquidator shall be disposed of.
