COUNTY OF WANGANUI.

NOTICE OF TAKING LANDS FOR PUBLIC WORKS.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wanganui County Council purpose executing a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road through portion of Block VII., Ikitara Survey District, situate at Okoia, Wanganui—and for the purposes of such public work to take, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and the amendments thereto, the lands described in the Schedule hereto, which said lands are owned and occupied respectively by the respective owners and occupiers whose names are set out in the said Schedule: And notice is hereby further given that a copy of the plan of the said road and of the lands so required to be taken is deposited at the shop of Edward Gordon, situate at Taylorville, within the said County of Wanganui, and is there open for inspection: And notice is hereby further given that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands shall, if they have any well-grounded objections thereto, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the said Wanganui County Council, at its office at Wanganui.

OXFORD ROAD BOARD.

NOTICE is hereby given, in accordance with the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” that it is the intention of the Oxford Road Board to take certain lands for drainage purposes, situate at Bennett’s, in the Oxford Road District, now in the occupation of Messrs. R. Blunden and W. H. Atkinson, a plan of which lands, showing the boundaries, area, and the names of the several owners and occupiers, is deposited for inspection at the Courthouse, Oxford, during office hours.

The said Board proposes to execute on the land required to be taken for that purpose certain works relating to the reconstruction of the main drain of the Cust, also to construct falls and embankments.

And notice is also further given that all persons affected by or having any objection to the execution of such works or the taking of such lands must make such objection in writing to the said Oxford Road Board within forty (40) days from date hereof.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A ROAD.

“THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1894,” “THE COUNTIES ACT, 1886.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the Tauranga County Council proposes to take the pieces of land mentioned in the Schedule hereto, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, for the purposes of a public road; and also that a plan showing the land required to be taken, together with the names of the owners and occupiers of such land, is deposited at the office of the Tauranga County Council, in Tauranga, and is open for public inspection; and also that all persons affected by the taking of the said land shall, if they have any well-grounded objection to the taking of said land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the office of the said Tauranga County Council, in Tauranga, addressed to the undersigned.

Approximate area of land required to be taken, 10 acres 2 roods; being portion of Whakamarama No. 1 Block, No. 4455; situated in the Survey District of Aongatete; coloured in plan pink; plan numbered 12314a.
