A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the one-hundred-and-seventy-second section of “The Land Act, 1892,” and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of sections one hundred and seventy-two to one hundred and eighty-six of Part V. of “The Land Act, 1892,” relating to small grazing-runs.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1894,” for a certain work, to wit, for the purpose of a road through Section 328, Parish of Waioeka, Opotiki County:
And whereas an agreement has been entered into by the Minister, in terms of section twenty-six of the said Act, to take such land for the public work hereinafter set forth :
And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister has recommended the Governor to issue a Proclamation taking the land as required by the said Act :
Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of the agreement herein-before referred to, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purpose of a road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece or parcel of land being portion of Section 328, Parish of Waioeka, Opotiki County, and containing by admeasurement 2 acres 1 rood, more or less. Bounded towards the north by a public road, 130 links; towards the east by the Tutaetoko Stream; towards the south by a public road, 108 links; and towards the west by portion of Section 328 aforesaid, 353, 517, 351, 177, 244, 411, and 367 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked R. 4267A, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
