together with a statement of the receipts and expenditure of
the Board for such year. A copy of every such report and
statement, certified by the Chairman to be correct, shall be
sent to the Minister of Lands as soon as possible after each
annual meeting.

If at any meeting the Chairman is not present at the
time appointed for holding the same, the members present
shall choose some one of their number to be chairman of
such meeting. -
All questions shall be determined by the majority of
votes of the members of the Board present at a meeting.
And with the like advice and consent as aforesaid doth
hereby also order that this delegation shall take effect in
respect of the parcel of Crown lands described in the
Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing
by admeasurement 3 acres 1 rood, more or less, being Reserve No. 3594 (in red), situated in Block X., Wakanui
Survey District. Bounded towards the north by the road
intersecting Rural Section No. 33274, towards the east and
south by the Ashburton River, and towards the west by
the said Rural Section No. 33274; as the same is delineated
on the plan marked S.G. 47734, deposited in the Head
Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in
the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered pink.

Powers delegated under “The Public Domains Act, 1881,”
to the Minister in Charge of the Department of Tourist
and Health Resorts in respect of the Piha Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twentieth
day of April, 1903.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS by the twelfth section of “The Public
Domains Act, 1881,” it is, inter alia, enacted that
the Governor, by Order in Council, may from time to time
delegate all or any of the powers by the said Act conferred,
save as is therein mentioned, to any person or persons, for
any period, and subject to such stipulations as may be
specified in such order, and that every such delegation may
from time to time in like manner be altered or revoked:
And whereas, pursuant to “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,”
by an Order in Council of even date herewith, the land
described in the Schedule hereto, situate in the Auckland
Land District, is declared to be brought under the operation
of and to be subject to the provisions of the said “Public
Domains Act, 1881”:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor, by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
Colony of New Zealand, doth hereby, and in respect of the
land hereinafter mentioned, which shall be known as
Piha Domain, delegate all the powers conferred by the
said Act, except the powers conferred by sections five and
twelve thereof, for the period of ten years from the date
hereof (unless previously altered or revoked under the said
Act), to the Minister in Charge of the Department of
Tourist and Health Resorts.
SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, being part of
Section No. 39 of the Parish of Karangahape, containing by
admeasurement 146 acres, more or less. Bounded towards
the east generally by a public road 498, 173, 275, 574, 160,
275, 139, and 203 links, by the crossing of the said road, by
other part of Section No. 39 of the Parish of Karangahape
776 links, by a public road 650, 601, 309, 235, and 234 links,
by the crossing of a road, and by a public road 389, 226,
212, 214, 359, and 351 links; towards the south generally
by a public road, 421, 306, 124, 181, 166, 196, 257, 145, 541,
241, and 422 links; towards the south-west by Section No. 40
of the Parish of Karangahape, 3784 links; and towards the
north-west generally by a public road, 3543 links, and by
other part of Section No. 39, 160 and 643 links, to the point
of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or
less: excepting from the above-described area a road 100
links wide which intersects the said area: as the same is
delineated on the plan marked S.G. 48689, deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured red.

Recreation-ground in Canterbury Land District brought under
“The Public Domains Act, 1881.”

the twenty-fourth section of “The Public Reserves
Act, 1881,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
colony, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for
public recreation in the Canterbury Land District, described in the Schedule hereto, shall be and the same is
hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be
subject to the provisions of “The Public Domains Act,
1881”; and such domain shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with in manner directed by the said
Act.
