NOTICE is hereby given that the adoption particulars of which are set out hereunder has been duly registered by me under the provisions of section 50 of “The Native Land Claims Adjustment and Laws Amendment Act, 1901.”

PARTICULARS OF ADOPTION OF CHILDREN.
To the Registrar of the Native Land Court, Wellington District.
I, HENRY MARTIN DOWNS, of Rata, hereby give notice that I have taken Harry Downs and Kehu Ngakaraihe Downs, children of Raukawa Mahauariki and Amokura, and of Tamara (deceased) and Oates, a European, to be my adopted children according to Maori custom; and I request that such adoption be registered under the provisions of section 50 of “The Native Land Claims Adjustment and Laws Amendment Act, 1901.”
As witness my hand, this 2nd day of April, 1903.
