WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” “The Wellington City Empowering Act, 1897,” “The Wellington City Empowering Act, 1899,” and “The Public Works Act, 1894.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City of Wellington proposes, under the provisions of the abovementioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the widening of Adelaide Road, in the City of Wellington—and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule below is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situate at the corner of Brandon Street and Featherston Street, in the said city, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such lands, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, Wellington.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEEPENING AND WIDENING THE CHANNEL OF THE HUTT RIVER, AND AS PART OF THE SAID WORK TO REMOVE EARTH, STONE, BOULDERS, GRAVEL, SAND, AND OTHER MATERIAL FROM THE SAID LAND, BEING PART OF SECTIONS 75 AND 28, BLOCK VIII., BELMONT SURVEY DISTRICT.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” to execute a certain public work, to wit, the deepening and widening of the channel of the Hutt River in Sections 75 and 28, Block VIII., Belmont Survey District, and as part of the said work to remove earth, stone, boulders, gravel, sand, and other material from the said sections; and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is further given that the plan of the said land so required to be taken is deposited in the Hutt River Board’s Office, at Lower Hutt, and is there open for inspection. And notice is hereby given that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land shall, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the said Hutt River Board, at its office, Lower Hutt.

THE NEW ZEALAND TYPEWRITER AND SUPPLIES COMPANY (LIMITED).

NOTICE is hereby given that a General Meeting of the members of the abovenamed company will be held at the offices of Mr. F. E. Baume, Queen Street, Auckland, on Tuesday, the 9th day of June, 1903, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon precisely, to receive the Liquidator’s account and report showing how the winding-up of the company has been conducted and its property disposed of, to hear any explanation that may be given by the said Liquidator, and to pass a resolution as to the disposal of the books, accounts, or other documents of the company.
