PURSUANT to the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand passed in the forty-fourth year of the reign of Her late Majesty Queen Victoria, and intituled “The Marriage Act, 1880,” the following names of Officiating Ministers within the meaning of the said Act are published for general information:—

NOTICE.—ALLAN ERNEST MESSER, Esq., of 140, Old Jewry Chambers, London, a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Judicature in England, has this day been appointed by His Honour the Chief Justice a Commissioner of the Supreme Court of New Zealand in England, under the 2nd section of “The Commissioners of the Supreme Court Act, 1875,” for the purpose of administering and taking all such oaths, affidavits, and affirmations as in the said section mentioned.

“The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1900.”—Notice of Cancellation of Registry.

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to an application on that behalf made to me by the Otago and Southland Dredgemen’s Industrial Union of Workers, registered No. 250, situated at Alexandra South, the registration of that industrial union will be cancelled at the expiration of six weeks from the date hereof unless within the six weeks specified proceedings be commenced by a member or other person interested in or having some claim on the funds of the industrial union to set aside such cancellation, and the same is set aside accordingly.

NOTICE is hereby given that the certificate of incorporation, No. 134, granted to the Wellington Masonic Institute on the 16th day of September, 1899, is hereby cancelled, on the ground that there are no members or funds, and that the corporation has ceased to exist.

Notice of Vesting of Land in the Public Trustee under “The Unclaimed Lands Act, 1894.”
WHEREAS I, the undersigned, the Public Trustee, have, for the purposes of “The Unclaimed Lands Act, 1894,” made due inquiries with respect to the land described in the Schedule hereunder written, and the owner thereof, and have, in respect of the said land, given the notices prescribed by section 4 of the said Act, and have in all respects complied with the provisions of the said section: And whereas I have not thereby ascertained who the owner is, and believe that such owner is not in the colony, nor has such owner established his title to the said land, as required by the said Act: I hereby give notice that the said land is, under and by virtue of the said Act, vested in me, as the Public Trustee as aforesaid, as from the date of the publication hereof, and will be administered under the said Act; the assessed value of the said land being less than £100.
