Land temporarily reserved in the Land District of Nelson.

WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Land District of Nelson described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the said Schedule specified at the end of the description of the land so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 135 acres, more or less, being Section No. 17, Block X., Reefton Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Crown lands, 9285 links; towards the south-east by Crown lands, 911 links; towards the south partly by a public road and partly by Section No. 188, 2893 links; towards the south-west by a public road, 2435 links and 1569 links respectively; again towards the south by a public road, 1810 links and 42 links respectively; and again towards the south-west by Section No. 189, 3643 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 48545, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered red. For a rifle range.
