WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Land District of Auckland described in the Schedules hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedules specified at the end of the descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section No. 39 of the Parish of Waioeka, containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the east and north-east by a public road, 220, 670, 1622, 1471, and 250 links respectively; and towards the south-west and north-west by the Waioeka River to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49275, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
