Bounded towards the north-east by a right-of-way, 1558 links; towards the south-east by Section No. 6 of Block V., Harataunga Survey District, 851 links; towards the north-west by the Moehau No. 3E3 Block, 800 links; towards the south-west by a public road, 705 links; and again towards the north-west by a right-of-way, 109 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49427, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured purple. For a site for a public school.

WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of โ€œThe Land Act, 1892,โ€ it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Land District of Auckland described in the Schedules hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedules specified at the end of the descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section No. 39 of the Parish of Waioeka, containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the east and north-east by a public road, 220, 670, 1622, 1471, and 250 links respectively; and towards the south-west and north-west by the Waioeka River to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49275, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For conservation of river-banks.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section No. 243 of the Parish of Waioeka, containing by admeasurement 9 acres 1 rood 22 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by a public road 495 and 1462 links respectively, by the crossing of the said road, and by Section No. 240 of the Parish of Waioeka 1480 links; towards the south-east by Section No. 242 of the said Parish of Waioeka 310 links, by the crossing of a public road, and thence by said road 105 links; and towards the west generally by the Otara River to Section No. 220 of the said Parish of Waioeka, and thence by the said Section No. 220, 25 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: excepting from the above-described area a road 100 links wide: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49275A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section No. 332 of the Parish of Waioeka, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods, more or less. Bounded towards the north by the Otara River; towards the east by Section No. 52 of the said Parish of Waioeka, 436 links; towards the south by a public road, 503 links; and towards the west by Section No. 349 of the Parish of Waioeka aforesaid, 240 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49275B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For an addition to slaughterhouse-site.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section No. 59 of the Parish of Waiotahi, containing by admeasurement 16 acres 1 rood, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 61 of the said Parish of Waiotahi, 1940 links; towards the south-east by Section No. 62 of the said Parish of Waiotahi, 375 links; towards the south-west by Section No. 475 of the said Parish of Waiotahi, 76 links and 1868 links respectively; and towards the north-west by a public road, 120 links, 897 links, and 459 links respectively, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49275D, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section No. 137 of the Parish of Waiotahi, containing by admeasurement 10 acres 2 roods, more or less. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 472 of the said Parish of Waiotahi, 768 links; towards the east by the said Section No. 472 1215 links, and by a public road 512 links; towards the south-west by Section No. 410 of the Parish of Waiotahi aforesaid, 1014 links; and towards the west by a public road, 343 links and 738 links respectively, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49275E, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section No. 191B of the Parish of Waiotahi, containing by admeasurement 19 acres 1 rood, more or less. Bounded towards the south-east by the abutment of a public road, by Section No. 191 of the Parish of Waiotahi, by the abutment of a public road, again by the said Section No. 191 and by the abutment of a public road, a total of 895 links; thence towards the west, north, and east by the Ohiwa Harbour: be the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49275F, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For a landing reserve.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section No. 394 of the Parish of Waiotahi, containing by admeasurement 14 acres 3 roods 24 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east generally by a public road, 534 links, 291 links, 497 links, 252 links, 362 links, 396 links, and 987 links respectively; towards the south-west by Section No. 412 of the Parish of Waiotahi 1616 links, by the crossing of a road 105 links, and by a road 532 links; and towards the west by the said Section No. 412, 934 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: excepting from the above-described area a road 100 links wide: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49275G, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For a quarry reserve.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section No. 400 of the Parish of Waiotahi, containing by admeasurement 19 acres 2 roods, more or less. Bounded towards the east by Section No. 411 of the said Parish of Waiotahi, 1691 links; towards the south by Section No. 422 of the said Parish of Waiotahi, 1527 links; and towards the north-west by a public road, 448 links, 456 links, 793 links, and 858 links respectively, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49275H, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For a quarry reserve.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section No. 94 of the Parish of Otai, containing by admeasurement 833 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by the Orere and Taupo Block, the Wharekawa No. 4 Block, the crossing of a public road, and again by the Wharekawa No. 4 Block, 11966 links; towards the south-east generally by the Wharekawa No. 4 Block aforesaid, 962 links, 981 links 879 links, 1368 links, 800 links, 1607 links, 964 links 906 links, 668 links, 629 links, 814 links, 711 links, 660 links 769 links, and 603 links respectively; towards the south-west by Section No. 100 of the said Parish of Otai and the abutment of a public road, 4248 links; and towards the north-west by Section No. 95 of the Parish of Otai aforesaid, the crossing of a public road, and again by Section No. 95 aforesaid, 8919 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: excepting from the above-described area a road-line of varying width, but not less than 100 links wide: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49440, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered red.
