No. 178 of Hokonui Survey District: thence towards the south-west by that road and its continuation through Section No. 91, Hokonui Survey District, to the road forming the south-eastern boundary of Sections Nos. 351 and 353 of Hokonui Survey District, and by the last-mentioned road continued to the Township of Balfour; thence by lines so as to include the Township of Balfour to the Waimea Plains Railway; thence by the Waimea Plains Railway to the Township of Lumsden; thence by lines so as to include the Township of Lumsden to the Oreti River; thence by the Oreti River to a point due west of Hummock Peak; thence by a right line to Hummock Peak; thence by the summit of the watershed over Mount Lookup and the Thompson Mountains to a line drawn between Round Peak and Moffat Peak: thence towards the south by a right line to Moffat Peak; thence by a right line to Mount Eglinton: thence again towards the south-west by the summit of the Earl Mountains to a point in line with the Castle Mountain and Cloudy Pass: thence again towards the south by a right line over the said Castle Mountain and Cloudy Pass to Bligh Sound; and thence by the said Bligh Sound to the ocean: and thence again towards the north-west by the ocean.

WALLACE.

This district is bounded towards the north-east generally by the Wakatipu Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from Bligh Sound to the northern boundary-line of Section No. 449, Hokonui Survey District; thence by the Mataura Electoral District to the northern boundary-line of Forest Hill Hundred: thence towards the south by the northern boundary-line of Forest Hill Hundred, the northern boundary-line of Winton Hundred, and the northern boundary-line of Oreti Hundred to the road which forms the north-eastern boundary of Section No. 53, Oreti Hundred; thence by Section No. 63 and the road which forms the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 53, and that road continued through Section No. 62 of the said Oreti Hundred to the road which forms the western boundary of the said Section No. 62; thence by the eastern side of that road to Section No. 108: thence again towards the south by the said Section No. 108 and Sections Nos. 107 and 44 to the north-western corner of the last-mentioned section: thence again towards the east by the said Section No. 44 and Sections Nos. 43, 80, 86, 89, 90, 91, 94, and 95, all of the said Oreti Hundred, to the south-western corner of the last-mentioned section: thence again towards the south by the New River Hundred to the Waimatuku Stream: thence again towards the east by the left bank of that stream to the ocean: and thence again towards the south and towards the west by the ocean to Bligh Sound aforesaid, at the Wakatipu Electoral District aforesaid.

INVERCARGILL.

This district is bounded towards the north by the Waihopai River; thence towards the east by the road forming the north-eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 12, 17, and 16 of Block II., Invercargill Hundred (Mill Road); thence towards the south-east by the Invercargill–Dunedin Road to Oteramika Road; thence again towards the north-east by the Oteramika Road and by the eastern boundary-line of the Borough of South Invercargill, as the said borough is described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 16, 15th February, 1883, to the Campbelltown Hundred; thence towards the south by Campbelltown Hundred; and towards the west by the New River Estuary to the Waihopai River aforesaid.

AWARUA.

This district is bounded towards the west and north by the Wallace Electoral District, hereinbefore described; towards the east generally by the Mataura Electoral District, hereinbefore described; and towards the south-west by Foveaux Straits to the Wallace Electoral District aforesaid, the place of commencement: exclusive of the Invercargill Electoral District, hereinbefore described, and including Stewart Island, Centre Island, Ruapuke Island, Dog Island, and all adjacent islands.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly; Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this thirteenth day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and two.
