the said Waikiekie Stream to the south-western boundary-line of the Whakairorahi No. 1 Block (1667); thence by the said Whakairorahi No. 1 Block and by the Whakairorahi No. 2 Block (1667A), and by Block No. 2652A to the Waiwhakaurunga River; thence by the said Waiwhakaurunga River to its confluence with the Kauaeranga River, and thence by the said Kauaeranga River to the Firth of Thames: thence towards the west generally by the Firth of Thames to the southern boundary-line of the Borough of Thames (as the said borough is described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 16, 7th February, 1896); thence by the southern, south-western, and northern boundary-lines of the said Borough of Thames to Rocky Point; and thence by the Firth of Thames and the Hauraki Gulf to Cape Colville, the place of commencement: including Great Mercury, Cuvier, and adjacent islands.

OHINEMURI.

This district is bounded towards the north-west and north-east by the Thames Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from the southern boundary of the Borough of Thames (as the said borough is described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 16, 7th February, 1896) at the Firth of Thames to the northern head of Tairua Harbour: thence towards the east generally by Tairua Harbour and the sea to the easternmost corner of the Whangamata No. 6 Block, near Whiritoa: thence towards the south-east generally by the south-eastern boundary-line of the said Whangamata No. 6 Block to the easternmost corner of Block No. 20c (3416), and thence by the south-eastern boundary-line of the last-mentioned block and the south-eastern boundary-line of Ohinemuri No. 20 Block to the south-eastern corner of the said Ohinemuri No. 20 Block at Trig. Station 86, in Block XI., Ohinemuri Survey District; thence by a right line to the northernmost corner of Section No. 4 of Block XV. of the said Ohinemuri Survey District; thence by a right line to the Ohinemuri River where that river is crossed by the main road to Katikati and Tauranga; thence by the said main road to the south-eastern boundary-line of Ngatitamatua Block; thence by the south-eastern boundary-line of the last-mentioned block to the south-eastern corner of the said Ngatitamatua Block; thence by a line due south to its intersection by a right line drawn from the mouth of the Waihi River to the summit of Te Aroha Mountain; thence by a right line in the direction of the summit of Te Aroha Mountain as far as the summit of the main range between the Waihou River and the Bay of Plenty; thence by the summit of the main range between the Waihou River and the Bay of Plenty (confiscation boundary-line) to Mimiatoanga at or near the north-western corner of the Whakamarama No. 2 Block; thence again towards the south-east by a right line to the Wairere Falls; thence by the Wairere River; thence towards the south-west by the said Wairere River to its confluence with the Waihou River; and thence by the Waihou River to the Franklin Electoral District: thence towards the south and towards the west generally by the Franklin Electoral District, hereinbefore described, to the Firth of Thames: and towards the north by the Firth of Thames to the southern boundary-line of the Borough of Thames, the place of commencement: including Slipper Island.

WAIKATO.

This district is bounded towards the north generally by the Franklin Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from the west coast at the mouth of the Mangati Stream to the Waihou River: thence towards the north-east by the Ohinemuri Electoral District hereinbefore described to the Whakamarama No. 2 Block: thence towards the east generally by the said Whakamarama No. 2 Block to its southernmost corner at Waianuanu; thence by the Mangatotara No. 1A Block (5319A), by the Mangatotara No. 1C Block (5319), by a block of Crown lands containing 870 acres, and by the Mangatotara No. 3 Block (5319C) to the Tauranga Road passing through the Kumikumi No. 1 Block; thence by that road in a westerly direction to where it crosses the Waihou River at the Tuaraparaharaha No. 2 Block (4087); thence by the said Waihou River to the road intersecting the Mangapouri No. 1 Block in the Patetere North Survey District; thence by the last-mentioned road and its continuation in a southerly direction to and along the western boundary of Section No. 2 of the Whakaratamaiti Block in Blocks VII. and XI., Patetere North Survey District, to and across the Oraka Stream and onwards to and across the Auckland-Rotorua Railway-line to the old railway-line at a point about one mile and three-quarters north of the Township of Lichfield; thence by the old railway-line to the northern boundary of the Township of Lichfield; thence by the northern, eastern, and southern boundaries of the Township of Lichfield aforesaid to the road leading in a southerly direction from Lichfield through the Pakuranga No. 1 Block; thence by that road and its continuation leading past Te Whetu No. 1 Block and the Tokoroa No. 1 Block to a right line joining Uraura Trig. Station and Maungatautari Trig. Station (the said right line being the south-western boundary-line of the County of Piako); thence by a right line to Uraura Trig. Station; thence by a right line to the mouth of the Waihora Stream in Lake Taupo: thence towards the south-west by a right line to the source of the Ongaruhe River: thence towards the south by a right line to the summit of Rangitoto Mountain; thence by a right line to the northernmost corner of Te Kuiti Village Settlement; thence by Te Kuiti Village Settlement and by the north-western boundary-line of Section No. 1 of the said Te Kuiti Village Settlement produced to the Mangaokewa Stream; thence by the Mangaokewa River to the south-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 12 of Block XV., Orahiri Survey District: thence towards the south generally by the south-eastern boundary-line of the said Section No. 12 and by the south-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 3 of the said Block XV.; thence by the eastern, southern, and western boundary-lines of the Tapui-wahine Block to the Pakeho Block (6782); thence by the southern boundary-line of that block and the southern boundary-line of Rototapu Block to the Pokeho Block; thence by the eastern, southern, and part of the western boundaries of the last-mentioned block to the southern boundary-line of the Pokirangi Block; thence by the southern boundary-line of the Pokirangi Block to Subdivision No. 11 of the Kinohaku East No. 2 Block; thence by the south-western boundary-line of the said Subdivision No. 11 to Subdivision No. 25 of the Kinohaku East No. 2 Block; thence by the south-eastern and southern boundary-lines of the said Subdivision No. 25 to Section No. 8, of Block IV., Maungamangero Survey District; thence by the eastern boundary-line of the last-mentioned section to Section No. 7 of the said Block IV.; thence by the said Section No. 7 and by Sections Nos. 2 and 1 of the said Block IV., and by Section No. 13 of Block VIII. of the said survey district, and by Sections Nos. 5, 4, 3, and 1 of Block VII., of Maungamangero Survey District aforesaid, to the northernmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence by a right line to the south-eastern corner of the Moeatoa Block; and thence by the southern boundary-line of that block to the sea-coast near Tirua Point; and thence towards the west generally by the sea to the Mangati Stream aforesaid.

BAY OF PLENTY.

This district is bounded towards the west generally by the Ohinemuri Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from the north-western corner of the Whakamarama No. 2 Block to the Bay of Plenty, at the south-eastern corner of Whangamata No. 6 Block: thence towards the north generally by the Bay of Plenty to Cape Runaway: thence towards the east by a right line to the summit of Mount Hikurangi: thence towards the south-east by right lines from hill to hill along the summit of the watershed between the Bay of Plenty and the east coast to Trig. Station No. 139A; thence by a right line over Trig. Station No. 140 to the Motu River; thence by the right bank of the said Motu River to the north-western boundary-line of the Motu Block; thence by that block to its westernmost corner at the Koranga River: thence again towards the north-east by the right bank of the said Koranga River to its source; thence by a right line to Maungatapere Trig. Station: thence again towards the south-east by a right line to Maungapohatu: thence again towards the north-east by a right line to Trig. Station No. 93 (Nga Pakira): thence again towards the south-east by a right line to the most northerly point of Waikaremoana; thence by a right line to the junction of the Rangitaiki River with the main road from Napier to Taupo; thence by a right line to the eastern boundary-line of the Tauhara South Block to a point where it is crossed by the Taharua River: thence again to the north-east by the said Taharua River to its confluence with the Mohaka River; thence by the said Mohaka River to a line being the production of a right line drawn between Trig. Station No. 65A, Kaweka Survey District, and Trig. Station No. 68A; thence by a right line to the said Trig. Station No. 65A: thence towards the south by a right line to Trig. Station No. 26, Tawheketewhango; thence by a right line to Trig. Station No. 27; thence by a right line to Trig. Station No. 28, Kaimanawa Survey District; thence by a right line to the summit of Ruapehu Mountain: thence towards the west by lines from peak to peak to the summit of Tongariro Mountain: thence towards the north-west by the Egmont Electoral District hereinafter described, to the mouth of the Waihora Stream on Lake Taupo: and thence towards the west generally by the Waikato Electoral District, hereinbefore described, to the Ohinemuri Electoral District aforesaid: including Motiti and Whale Islands.

WAIAFU.

This district is bounded towards the north by the sea from Cape Runaway to East Cape: towards the east by the sea to Paritu at the southernmost corner of Cook County: thence towards the south-west by a right line to the confluence of the Ruakituri with the Hangaroa River; thence by the right bank of the said Ruakituri River to the north-eastern corner of the Matakuhia Block; and thence by the
