All that area in the Land District of Hawke’s Bay, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Section No. 24, Elsthorpe Village, Block VII., Oero Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by a public road, 625 links; towards the south-east by Section No. 23 of the said Elsthorpe Village, 800 links; towards the south-west by Section No. 31, Block VII. aforesaid, 625 links; and towards the north-west by Section No. 41, Block VII. aforesaid, 800 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. For a school-site.
All that area in the Land District of Hawke’s Bay, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 35 perches, more or less, being Section No. 53, Block VII., Oero Survey District. Bounded towards the north by a public road, 250 links; towards the north-east by Section No. 30 of the said Block VII., 200 links; towards the south by Section No. 30 aforesaid, 250 links; and towards the south-west by Section No. 52, Block VII. aforesaid, 200 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. For a public pound.

Rivers and their Tributaries, Auckland Land District, notified under “The Timber-floating Act, 1884.”
RANFURLY, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the second section of “The Timber-floating Act, 1884,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby notify that the undermentioned rivers and their tributary streams and branches within the colony may be used under license for the purposes of the said Act.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
THE Waihaha River (Waikare Inlet) and its branches or tributary streams, situated in the Bay of Islands County.
The Waiharakeke River and its branches or tributary streams, including the Ngapipito, situated in the Bay of Islands County.
The Otahu River and its branches or tributary streams, situated in the Ohinemuri County.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-fifth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and two.

Trustees for the Orepuki Public Cemetery appointed.
RANFURLY, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the several persons whose names are specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to be Trustees to provide for the maintenance and care of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.

Rural Lands in the Southland Land District open for Sale or Selection.
RANFURLY, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-thirty-sixth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, having received the report of the Surveyor-General in this behalf, as in the said section is provided, do hereby declare that the rural lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection on and after the ninth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and two; and also that the lands mentioned in the said Schedule may, at the option of the applicant, be purchased for cash, or be selected for occupation with right of purchase or on lease in perpetuity, or, in respect of any land containing or supposed to contain any metal, mineral, or valuable stone, be selected on lease in perpetuity only; and I do hereby also fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold, occupied, or leased, as mentioned in the said Schedule hereto, and do declare that the said lands shall be sold, occupied, or leased under and subject to the provisions of “The Land Act, 1892.

Situated one mile from Waimatua Railway-station, and about seven miles from Invercargill Land level; soil heavy, with clay bottom; bush light.
