p.m., at the Newmarket Hall, Newmarket, or at such other time or place as may from time to time be fixed by the Board. The first meeting shall be held on Tuesday, the fifteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and two.

Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman or by any two members of the Board, provided that two days’ notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying the business to be transacted at such special meeting; and no other business than that so specified shall be transacted at such meeting.

Any three members of the Board shall form a quorum. Any meeting may be adjourned from time to time.

The Chairman of the Road Board shall be the Chairman of the Board, and shall have an original as well as a casting vote; he shall hold office until the election of his successor.

The Board shall prepare and submit at each annual meeting a report of the proceedings of the Board for the previous year ending on the thirty-first day of December, together with a statement of the receipts and expenditure of the Board for such year. A copy of every such report and statement, certified by the Chairman to be correct, shall be sent to the Minister of Lands as soon as possible after each annual meeting.

If at any meeting the Chairman is not present at the time appointed for holding the same, the members present shall choose some one of their number to be chairman of such meeting.

All questions shall be determined by the majority of votes of the members of the Board present at a meeting.
And with the like advice and consent as aforesaid doth hereby also order that this delegation shall take effect in respect of the parcels of Crown lands described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being the northern portion of Allotment No. 12A of Section No. 11 of the Suburbs of Auckland. Bounded towards the north-east by a public road and Allotment No. 12 of Section 11, Suburbs of Auckland, 351 links; towards the south-east by said Allotment No. 12 and other portion of Allotment No. 12A of the same section, 285 links; and towards the south-west and north-west by other portion of Allotment No. 12A aforesaid, 351 and 285 links respectively, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, being the southern portion of Allotment No. 12A of original Section No. 11, Suburbs of Auckland, and containing by admeasurement 7 acres 2 roods 21 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east generally by Allotment No. part of 12 from the north-eastern corner of Allotment No. part of 12A (quarry reserve) to the southernmost corner of the former allotment; towards the south-east generally by Allotments Nos. 14 and 15 and Subdivisions Nos. 25 and 24 of Allotment No. 18; towards the south-west generally by Subdivision No. 23 of the said Allotment No. 18, by a road, and Allotments Nos. 17 and 16; towards the north-west generally by the road forming the south-eastern boundary of Subdivisions Nos. 4, 3, 6, and 7, all of Allotment No. 12; and thence again towards the south-east, north-east, and north-west by part of Allotment No. 12A, quarry reserve aforesaid, to the place of commencement:
As the same are delineated on the plan deposited in the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-first day of June, 1902.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by “The Public Domains Act, 1881,” His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby revoke a certain Order in Council, dated the twenty-first day of February, one thousand nine hundred and two, making delegation of certain powers in manner as therein appears; and doth hereby, with the like advice and consent, and in respect of the land herein-after mentioned, delegate all the powers conferred by the said Act, except the powers conferred by sections five and twelve thereof, for the period of ten years from the date hereof (unless previously altered or revoked under the said Act), to the undermentioned persons, who shall be known as the Highbank Domain Board, namely,—
John Driscoll,
Charles Spray,
Charles William Smith,
Alexander Knox Callaghan,
Albert James Waterworth,
Albert Richards, and
Charles William Anderson
(herein referred to as “the Board”), subject to the stipulations hereinafter contained, that is to say,—

The Board shall meet for the transaction of business on the third Saturday in each month, at half-past seven o’clock p.m., at the schoolhouse, Highbank, or at such other time or place as may from time to time be fixed by the Board. The first meeting shall be held on Saturday, the nineteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and two.

Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman or by any two members of the Board, provided that two days’ notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying the business to be transacted at such special meeting; and no other business than that so specified shall be transacted at such meeting.

Any three members of the Board shall form a quorum. Any meeting may be adjourned from time to time.

The members of the Board shall, at their first meeting, and at an annual meeting to be held on the third Saturday in January in every succeeding year thereafter, elect one of themselves to be Chairman, who may join in the discussion, and shall have an original as well as a casting vote. The Chairman shall hold office until the election of his successor.

Bounded towards the north-west by Lot 50 of the Highbank Settlement, 1225 links; towards the north-east by a road-line, 773·8 links; towards the south-east by a road-line, 1019·8 links; and towards the south-west by Lots 59 and 58 of said settlement, 856·6 links; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the District Lands and Survey Office, Christchurch.
