EVIDENCE of loss of certificates of title, Vol. iv., folio 134, Vol. xxi., folio 228, and Vol. xxvii., folio 32, for Allotment 129, Parish of Waimana, Allotments 158, 159, and 160, Parish of Whangamarino, and Allotment 262, Parish of Waikomiti, respectively, in favour of WILLIAM AITKEN, of Auckland, Land Agent, having been lodged with me, and application made to issue provisional certificates of title: Notice is hereby given of my intention to issue provisional certificates of title accordingly, at the expiration of fourteen days after the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels of land hereinafter described will be brought under the provisions of "The Land Transfer Act, 1885," unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same on or before the 7th day of April, 1902.

EVIDENCE having been furnished of the loss of Crown lease under "The Land Act 1877 Amendment Act, 1882," Register-book, Vol. lxx., folio 97, comprising Section 1, Block III., Poolburn District, whereof PETER ALLEN, of Ida Valley, Farmer, is registered proprietor, and application having been made to me to issue a provisional lease and to register a dealing affecting the said land, I hereby give notice that I will issue such provisional lease and register such dealing at the expiration of fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing at Waipiro between JOHN FRANK PETTIE and JOSEPH JAMES FRY, as Storekeepers and Hotelkeepers, has this day been dissolved by mutual consent. The said John Frank Pettie will pay all liabilities and take over all assets of the late firm.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto subsisting between the undersigned, DAVID DAWSON, of Dunedin, Watchmaker, JAMES DAWSON, of Dunedin, Watchmaker, and JOHN CLEGG, of Dunedin, Accountant, as Watchmakers and Jewellers, and carrying on business in No. 24, George Street, Dunedin, under the style of "Dawson and Co.," has been dissolved as from the 28th day of February instant. The business will be continued by the said David Dawson and James Dawson, who will receive and pay all debts due to and by the late partnership.

NOTICE is hereby given that upon the 1st day of March, 1902, the above company passed an extraordinary resolution, to take effect as an extraordinary resolution under subsection (3) of section 189 of "The Companies Act, 1882," as follows:—

"That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the company that it cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same; and that Peter Barr, of Dunedin, Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up."

NOTICE is hereby given that a General Meeting of the abovementioned company (in liquidation) will be held at the office of the Lake Wakatipu Shipping Company (Limited), Beach Street, Queenstown, on Friday, the 9th day of May, 1902, at 3 o'clock in the afternoon.

Business: To receive the Liquidator's report of the winding-up and liquidation of the company's business and property, and to determine how the books and documents of the company shall be disposed of.
