IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
WILLIAM WEBSTER WYLIE
to be a Trustee, in the place of Robert Thompson, resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Maheno Public Cemetery, in conjunction with the other persons previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twelfth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and two.

Notifying Lands in Wellington for Sale by Public Auction.
RANFURLY, Governor.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-thirteenth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Thursday, the twelfth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and three, as the time at which the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the price at which the said lands shall be sold as that mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

Weighted with £2,000 valuation for improvements.
These sections are situated near Makuri Township, and comprise sloping grassed lands. The soil is good, resting on limestone formation. The improvements comprise butter-factory, plant, &c., valued as follows: Buildings, £735; plant, £1,177; earthwork, £88.

Rural Lands in the Westland Land District open for Selection on Lease in Perpetuity.
RANFURLY, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-thirty-sixth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, having received the report of the Surveyor-General in this behalf, as in the said section is provided, do hereby declare that the rural lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for selection on and after the fourth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and three; and also that the lands mentioned in the said Schedule may be selected on lease in perpetuity only, in accordance with the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-one of the said Act, as they contain, or are supposed to contain, metals, minerals, or valuable stone; and I do hereby also fix the prices at which the said lands shall be leased, as mentioned in the said Schedule hereto, and do declare that the said lands shall be leased under and subject to the provisions of “The Land Act, 1892.”
