I, EDMUND SPRAGUE DUKES, M.R.C.S. (Eng.), L.R.C.P., M.B. (Lond.), now residing at Motueka, hereby give notice that I intend applying on the 12th January next to have my name placed on the Medical Register for the Colony of New Zealand; and that I have deposited the evidence of my qualification in the office of the Registrar-General.

NOTICE is hereby given that a General Meeting of the members of the abovenamed company will be held at the company’s office, Ridgway Street, on Friday, the 20th day of February, 1903, at 12 o’clock noon precisely, to receive the Liquidators’ report showing how the winding-up of the company has been conducted and its property disposed of, to hear any explanation that may be given by the Liquidators, and to pass a resolution as to the disposal of the books, accounts, and other documents of the company.

AT a meeting of shareholders of the Glen Var Wine Company (Limited), held 7th November, 1902, a resolution was carried “That the company be wound up voluntarily”; and at a subsequent meeting of shareholders, held 22nd November, 1902, the above resolution was confirmed, and Mr. W. R. HOLMES, Accountant, of Auckland, was appointed Liquidator.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership formerly existing between SAMUEL CHAMBERLAIN and EDMUND HALLEWELL BRODHURST, carrying on business as “Chamberlain and Co.,” at Auckland and elsewhere, as Manufacturers and Importers, has expired, and that the said Edmund Hallewell Brodhurst is now carrying on and will continue to carry on the business as sole proprietor, under the same style and firm as heretofore.

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 30s. per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertion.
Statements under the Mining Act are uniformly charged 23s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening in each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before three o’clock of the day preceding publication.
Communications should be addressed to the Government Printer, Wellington, to whom post-office money-orders should be made payable. Cheques should be crossed “Public a/c,” and exchange added.
Postage- or duty-stamps cannot be received in payment from any place at which postal notes or post-office orders are issued.
Prepayment may be demanded in any case. In order to prevent delay in publication a sufficient remittance should accompany every advertisement. Any surplus will be returned with receipted account.
