Land set apart for Settlement.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by the second section of “The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act Amendment Act, 1891” (herein termed “the said Act”), it is, amongst other things, enacted that, before certain moneys therein mentioned shall be expended upon any block of land, it shall be necessary that the same be proclaimed as set apart for settlement:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of every power and authority enabling me in this behalf, and for the purposes of the said Act, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the block of land described in the Schedule hereto as set apart for settlement.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—HOKIANGA COUNTY.—PAREOKAWA BLOCK.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 7,645 acres, more or less, being Section No. 64 of Block II., Sections Nos. 1 and 2 of Block VIII., and Sections Nos. 1, 2, and 3, of Block X., all of Whangape Survey District; as the same are delineated upon the plan marked S.G. 47636, deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged with red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly; Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this fourth day of November, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and one.

Proclaiming the Taking of a Road through Sections 1 and 18, Block IV., Township of Waikouaiti, Waikouaiti County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, with the consent of the owner of the lands, and with the consent of the Waikouaiti County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said lands are situated, do by this notice hereby proclaim as a road the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

THE parcels of land mentioned in list hereunder:—

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, with the consent of the owner and mortgagee of the lands hereinafter mentioned, and with the consent of the Clutha County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said lands are situated, do by this notice hereby proclaim as a road the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto.
