Private Advertisements.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and its
amendments; and in the matter of the Waiongona Co-
operative Dairy Factory Company (Limited).

A Tan extraordinary general meeting of the above-named
company, duly convened, and held at the factory on
Friday, the 5th day of July, 1901, the following special
resolution was duly passed; and at a subsequent extra-
ordinary general meeting of the members of the said
company, also duly convened, and held at the same place
on Monday, the 22nd day of July, 1901, the following reso-
lution was duly confirmed:

“ That the Waiongona Co-operative Dairy Factory Com-
pany (Limited) be wound up voluntarily under the pro-
visions of 'The Companies Act, 1882,' and its amendments.”

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and its
amendments; and in the matter of “Belk's” Ship-
raising and Propeller Investment Company of New
Zealand (Limited).

THE creditors of the above-named company are
required, on or before the 4th day of September,
1901, to send their names and addresses, and the particulars
of their debts or claims, and the names and addresses
of their Solicitors (if any), to RICHARD JOSEPH HOWARD
LEIGH, of Palmerston North, the Official Liquidator of
the said company, and, if so required by notice in writing
from the said Official Liquidator, are by their Solicitors
to come in and prove their said debts or claims at the
District Court, Palmerston North, at such time as shall
be specified in such notice, or in default they will be ex-
cluded from the benefit of any distribution made before
such debts are proved. Wednesday, the 11th day of Sep-
tember, 1901, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, at the said
District Court, is appointed for hearing and adjudicating
upon the debts and claims.

“ THE COMPANIES ACT AMENDMENT ACT, 1900.”

Notice under Subsection (4) of Section 10.

IN pursuance of the provisions contained in subsection (4)
of section 10 of “The Companies Act Amendment
Act, 1900,” the under-mentioned companies are now struck
off the Register, and the same companies are dissolved :

NAME OF COMPANIES.
The Gisborne Discount Company (Limited).
The Cook County Cheese, Butter, and Bacon Factory Com-
pany (Limited).
The New Zealand Co-operative Land and Labour Company
(Limited).
The Gisborne Standard Newspaper Company (Limited).
The Cook County Building Society (Permanent).

Dated at Gisborne, this 25th day of July, 1901.

“ THE CANTERBURY COLLEGE AND THE
CANTERBURY AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE
ACT 1896.”

MICHAEL MURPHY, of Christchurch, being the only
person duly nominated to fill the casual vacancy on
the Board of Governors of the Canterbury Agricultural
College by members of the Legislative Council resident in
the Provincial District of Canterbury, and members of the
House of Representatives representing electoral districts
within the said provincial district, being the electors en-
titled to fill the said vacancy, I hereby declare the said
Michael Murphy to be duly elected to fill the said vacancy
by the said electors.

GREYMOUTH GAS COMPANY (LIMITED), (IN
LIQUIDATION).

NOTICE is hereby given that a General Meeting of
shareholders in the Greymouth Gas Company
(Limited) will be held at my office, Werita Street, Grey-
mouth, on Monday, 30th September, 1901, at 7.30 p.m., for
the purpose of having laid before them the accounts and
report of the Liquidator in connection with the voluntary
winding-up of the company.

30s. per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period
than three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line for
the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and any
subsequent insertion.
Statements under the Mining Act are uniformly charged
23s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible
hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening
in each week, and notices for insertion must be received by
the Government Printer before three o'clock of the day
preceding publication.
Communications should be addressed to the Government
Printer, Wellington, to whom post-office money-orders
should be made payable. Cheques should be crossed
“Public a/c,” and exchange added.
Postage- or duty-stamps cannot be received in payment
from any place at which postal notes or post-office orders
are issued.
